If your here, then you have some interest in the "Office of the Prophet." And I thank you for coming as this seems to be my only platform for this teaching this subject. at this time.
Before I proceed allow God Himself speak on this subject: if you believe God and His Word then you will not dispute what your about to read.
And He gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

Wait, am I informing you that God Himself installed prophets into the church?
Indeed! And prophets have been part of Gods plan for ages. One problem is somehow there was an age of silence. in the silence come a very bad teaching that has hit modern day churches. The being that the Office of the Prophet is dead and over. This teaching/doctrine dear reader is 100% false!
Whether you declare them as minor or major prophets they still remain the "Watchman of the House."
Whether, you like what he he says or not, does not make a person a false prophet. If what a prophet says lines up with Gods Word I would say its true.
Now let me state the following: there are, in todays own society, prophesying about the last days. Some may spew words of doom and gloom.
If I were any person hearing such a message I would be sure that the salvation message is included.
Please note: all through Biblical history you will find the message of doom and gloom. And I would bet you would find a prophet who went before hand to give warning.
Is the doom and gloom part of things to come?
One of the toughest scripture for the modern age to comprehend is as follows. In His attempt to make His point certain words or phrases with be set in bold. Mind you this is Gods own word, you will never be able to deny it.
Preach the Word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long-suffering and doctrine.
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry. For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.
