Ministry update

This ministry ha has been about since 1984   the world has changed during that time. Something else has changed and I frankly do not like it; I am not 18 any more infact I am just shy of my 66th birhday. And I am tired, real tired. However tired I am I want to see to it that one more person hear the Good News of Jesus christ

What has transpired this year, so far?

#1. as you know I suffered a masive heart attact in January and I again was hospitalised in April of this year. I am, by doctors orderes meant to be on the mend which means zero working, no walks, no heavy lifting, no driving. You get the picture?

#2. So my ministry has suffered and the board of directors has suggested I close down the minisstry. I suggested another 2 years to see which way it will go. Thus I extended the internet  contract with Comcast Business Class two more years.

#3. Starting in the next few days Thunderdome Ministry will embark on a second website that has ties with Google called UNEI.  My hope and prayer is to reach out even further with Gods message of hope and forgiveness. Thus, the ministry will have two websites on the World Wide Web.

#4.  Sadly after some tweny years there will be no Woodward Avenue Dream Crusie outreach this year. Unlike previous years, we had the tracts and the volunters and my health is still on the mend and lastly I am without transportation.

                                             Just what is the vision of the ministry

A.     to continue reaching the lost for the Lord as 2nd Corinthins chapter 15 tells us that we have the ministry & Word of reconcillation.

B.    build on 110 plus acress a campus for homless Christians and  vets. On the property would be a 200-250 seat chapel with learning center and at least 5-6 houses for living quarters.

In order for the vision to come to light means people just like you will need to  come forward and help financially. Why?  becasue this minstry is trying to stay away from goverment interferance. This mean not goverment grants. Why no grants? to many loopholes and restrictions. This is also why this ministry has been staying away from being a 501c3.

Present day

As of right now the minstry faces its problems, just as any other ministry What this ministry faces is a shortage of items that make a minisry run smoothly. One such issue is  that of modernday technogly.

The ministry runs short on copy paper, uptodate printer  as well as a computer/laptop.

Then too, there is no Christian volunteers or sponsorship to lean on for a little rest.

Am I available for speaking/preaching engagments? The answer is yes and no.  Yes I could do a preaching engagemnt. However said engagements would need to be here in Michigan and with traansporttion and lodging are provided until April-May of next year. Mountain Moving 2019

Before I begin let us look at the Holy Scriptures;

It reads as follows

Mar 11:22  And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. 

Mar 11:23  For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. 

Mar 11:24  Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. 

Let’s look at this and in doing so understand many think/believe its Gods  responsibility to do everything.

This, dear reader is farthest from the truth.

What me have faith? Indeed! As you read and hear Gods Word your faith grows little by little just like having a bank account.  God does not need faith, nor silver nor gold not even cattle. Why not? God has owned them since the beginning of Earths meger beginnings. So, lets look at this simple part you and me both need to move a mountain but how? We use our faith not His; look at it as a withdrawal from the bank. You need a little cash so you either use a teller(legally of course) or use an ATM machine. You don’t take all your money out of the bank just enough maybe to buy dinner at a nearby restaurant.

How do you know if you have faith in God? It’s called the test of time if you will. If you have been reading Gods Word you have faith.  I think the biggest test is what transpires between your house and the hospital in the back of an ambulance.  Whenever tradgy strikes it seems we end up in the ambulance. If you have ever been in a bicycle or automobile accident you know where I am coming from. There is zero time and place to pull out a Bible and start reading that’s because the workers have to do their work. So its time to layback and trust God to the fullest; This has happened to me several times and every time it was a life and death situation God took me through the ordeal. Even as recent as December 2018, while having what they referred to as a level two heart attack, God saw me through.

But what about Thunderdome Ministries Network Inc?

As stated once before, God will get this ministry through the rough waters though the faith of loyal believers that believes in the vision of the ministry.  However, and due to personal finances which God will be changing soon I trust one thing is certain.  What I have to share next will shock you but you need to hear the following;

Several brothers in the faith have suggested that the ministry ought to shutter its doors or perhaps be sold. Yours truly have given so much into the ministry since 1982 and little has returned on the physical side. Even when I tried to help a few homeless people not long ago, that were referred to me, I got burned big.

Will I still help homeless Christians in the future? Indeed, but under entirely different surroundings, like a campus on one hundred acres.

 

What can you do in 2019?

Ø  Be faithful

Ø  Be loyal

Ø  Be prayerful

Ø  Help move the mountain legally so we can help others in need. Help the homeless Christians.

Ø  Help buy and build a legally run campus, for those mentioned, on one hundred acres.

Ø  Volunteer: there are many areas of the ministry that need help form the talent inside Gods House. From a paper pusher to a website creator or even a person who handles customer service to perhaps evening being the next CEO of he ministry. 

 

Let us move that montain starting in 2019, yes?

Shall we set a monetary goal  for 2019?

What if we set a goal of say $150,000 for the entire year?

Some of which would cover monthly costs of course.

If, you believe in moving a mountain then lets move this mountain together. Let us put together a ministry, not made of fancy jets and cars but of souls that need Gods hand.

I.            Picture a campus of 4 bedroom houses, not dorms that homeless Christian families could sleep in peace.

II.            Picture a campus with a chapel that would sit 500 men, women and children several days a week..

III.            Picture a man on a tractor plowing the land, sowing seeds and harvesting crops to feel those on campus.

IV.            Picture a man/women in a large garage servicing vehicles of every size

V.            Picture a special house for Christian music groups like Petra, Newsboys, Christ Thomlin and so forth, to stay in peace, to save on their expenses. Asking nothing in return.

All of these pictures are possible, but we all need to work together.

We all need to start moving the mountains that are in the way.

If they hate me….

The year was 1953 one that would see tragedy with tornados in various part of the state of Michigan. Port Huron saw a twister as did Flint Michigan. In 1953 one was avoided the birth of a male child on July twenty-seventh in Norman Oklahoma. But wait, this child was not posed to live he was, according to stories this writer heard, to have been aborted. Yet, some sixty-five years later, there are stories to tell and heart breaks to be seen and felt.

Lets fast track to the end of 2018, some sixty-five years later, if you please;

Over the course of my life I was told I was dumb, stupid, would not amount to very much and that was just at home, putting it lightly. At school I was bullied and beat up and yet through it all I still managed to live. The reason why I was bullied was because of the work my foster father, worked at so the kids thought they could push yours truly because I would not fight back being the “son of a policeman.” 

So allow this writer to get to the point, fair enough?

Being a Christian would seem like a easy road to walk down right? But it is not, I will not sugar coat the story. Ever since the issue with Jesus and the Scribes and so forth His followers are  degraded to the teeth. Allow me to throw out some names and see if you know any of these who were degraded.

And the names could go on for eternity. And, by the way, the late Pastor Richard Blue has come under attack. And since Pastor Blue was my mentor I get the occasional riding of the rails as well. People degrade not only the man or woman of God but the message of reconciliation as well.

Listen, if you please, what Jesus had to say about those who hate Christians and ministers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Joh 15:18  If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. 

Joh 15:19  If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. 

Joh 15:20  Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. 

Joh 15:21  But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me. 

Joh 15:22  If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloke for their sin. 

Joh 15:23  He that hateth me hateth my Father also. 

Joh 15:24  If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father. 

Joh 15:25  But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause. 

Do you get bullied and degraded because you’re a Christian? If so you see the reason why in the scripture above.

Does the message of salvation(sometimes known as the Romans Road) get kicked around like football(known  as a Soccer ball in the USA)

And what’s freaky all the bullies who do the degrading are within the walls of a brick and mortar church.

Now, and since Pastor Blue is on to be with the LORD, I get to be bullied. And its over a simple tract Pastor Blue used for ages that, for the most part is located on Thunderdome Ministries Network  very own website.

“Well how many people have been lead to the LORD because its on your website?”  And the answer is I hope every person who reads that “the wages of sin is death” makes it to heaven. As I would rather they be happy in heave for eternity that in pain.

The late Pastor David Wilkerson said it the best, “the sin message is the hardest message to teach and to preach.

Because no one wants to hear the very truth that would set them free.”

To all Christians who are being bullied at school, home, in the work place or even in the hallowed halls of a church, I say the following:

Since they hated Jesus without a cause how much more shall we be hated.

Rember what was said in the the book of Epesians. And it reads like this:

The Whole Armor of God

Eph 6:10  Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 

Eph 6:11  Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 

Eph 6:12  For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 

Eph 6:13  Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 

Eph 6:14  Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 

Eph 6:15  And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 

Eph 6:16  Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 

Eph 6:17  And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 

Eph 6:18  Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; 

Eph 6:19  And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, 

Eph 6:20  For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak. 

It was once said that Samuel Clemens (Aka Mark Twain) knew how to speak to his audience. He, Samuel Clemens,  knew the power of the pause. It is said that at one of his conferences that he stood on stage 30 full minutes not uttering a sound. Some thought he was crazy and walked out. Some berated Clemens. But when Clemens did speak there was much respect and awe. For you see, those who know not the power and strength of the pause know little of the power of the story.

And what a story Christians have indeed.

Christians own the pause

                                  while God owns the story.

How many men, women and children have I lead to the Lord?

I know not

And do not want to know.

I will allow God to be the score keeper

As He owns the rest of the story.

After thought:

IF you are attacking the Gospel message and or being a bully to a minsiter of the Gospel I would so inclined to give God a wide berth as He walks by.

Thank you for an awesome 2018!

While this may be my last blog entry for this year it is one of hopes, dreams and of course thanks.

Let us take the latter one first: I want to thank everyone who came to read the Ramblings of yours truly ”Littlethunder”  Sometimes I may just seem like an old man not knowing the time of day. But, believe me I know exactly what time is. And to boot so does the Lord God almighty. And I can assure you that the day of the Lord is quickly coming upon us all, great and small. And I for one cannot wait until I meet Him face to face.

I want to thank those, without giving up their names, who gave willingly and freely to Thunderdome Ministries Network Inc this year. When one lives on a fixed income, as I do, every incoming dollar counts and matters. While the ministry has not built any houses the funds that did come forward helped pay to keep the lights on and the water running.

What lies in store for the ministry? Prayerfully a ranch/farm for Gods people who need a roof over their head on a temporary basis. At one time it was believed such property was what God had in mind, after all it was over 100 acres of prime farmland with barns and lakes and ponds to boot. However, the funding never came forth when it was needed and it looks as though that property has been sold. And some of you may know already when opportunity knocks you best open the door quickly or you might miss the orderal as in this case. Yet the future is still out there and the right property, funding and staffing will all come together in Gods timing,

On a personal note: My “ramblings” are often inspired by God Himself speaking what I believe is the truth. If sometimes it seems that those ramblings seem harsh it is to motivate the very elect of God. Kind of like what a natural disaster does if you will. God has an awesome family made of different parts, shapes and sizes. Every part has its place in the family of God.  You, as a member of the family of God cannot say to the arm or leg that you have no need of them, God forbid. In fact, every part is important in the family of God. Rich and poor, handsome and ugly. Every part is important.

While Im on the subject of the body of Christ allow me to inform you, dear reader, that God is not pleased about the bullies that are in the household of faith. There is no room for bullies in the kingdom of God. So if you’ve taken to bulling those in your church, and  or your youth group, then you need to come clean and repent.

Relocation Relocation Relocation

As you may remember I sensed, and still do, that God would like it that I relocate to a new area in these United States of American. And of course my doctor would prefer I move to a warmer climate as well. However, in order for this writer to relocate my present house must sell in a “as is” state without any warranties

Furthermore, any future home would have to meet with Gods approval  as I desire to to preach the Word of the Lord and evangelize the community.

There is one more aspect to relocating that would like to resume: long distance bicycle riding with a bicycle that will fit my needs. Reason being is the doctor recently gave his approval that I return to bicycle riding. A sport I was forced to give up on around ten years ago. Before I do so though I will need a good smooth riding touring 21 speed bicycle

Back to the relocating  aspect of this rambling: This means I am looking forward to seeing where God plants this vessel. Will it be Arkansas? Oklahoma, Arizona, New Mexico just where God will plant this vessel with the least amount of expenses is unknown at this time.
