It’s Past Time

The Late Pastor David Wilkerson attempted to give warning. But the message seemed to be ignored a and I know why .It be the same reason as many others messengers have been ignored

over the decades. Whether you admit it or not, professing Christian, or not, people think the message could not come from the thone of God because God is forgiving and merciful. And, in part, you would be right. But God has a message alright and the Thunder from the throne of God is very loud indeed.

 But let’s look at some Biblical historical facts.

* God first kicked Adam and Eve out of the Garden of Eden due to sin of disobedience.

* Abel was banished for not only lying to God but for the cold murder of his own brother.

* Due to mans sin and disobedience God destroyed the world with a flood saving only the family of Noah.

* Tale of two cities caught up in sin of about every type possible to man. Destroyed by fire and brimstone except for Lot and his family. And even then Lots wife disobeyed God and looked back only to turn into a pillar of fire.

If those four lessons don’t remind you, then, lets look at some other more personal issues that transpired.

a. When men of importance got jealous of Daniel and his friends they conspired to have the four terminated. End result? It backfired and the four men of God were spared while their accusers paid with their life.

b. When again they tried to accuse Daniel the end result as well was met with the accusers downfall eaten by hungry lions in the very den Daniel was rescued from moments earlier.

c. Jeremiah tried to tell the king the truth. The king only wanted to hear good things, soothing things to proper his kingdom. While Jerimiah suffered in prison the kingdom suffered.

d. Let’s talk about the first king of Israel that the people wanted? He disobeyed God, tried to kill David only to be met with a hoarded death in battle.

e. Let’s look at least two new testament men of God: John the Baptist and Jesus of Nazareth himself. John the Baptist was and also is classified as #1 a relative of Jesus #2. Prophet of God #3 disliked by a certain person or two in charge. End result John was beheaded. We know full well about Jesus, who was the son of Joseph and Mary. The end was that the life of Jesus suffered, died and rose again because some did not like the message from the message from the thone of God.

I have hereby given example after example how God dislikes humans mishandling His messengers.

Let’s fast forward to modern era okay?

* Keith Green, musician and prophet. Died in a airplane accident. Taken before his time.

* David Wilkerson, pastor, evangelist and prophet: died in a car accident.

Are there other modern day prophets who died before their time we know not about?

What about the legendary Reverend Billy Graham? Billy Graham seems to fit the bill as a modern day prophet let alone a pastor, reverend and evangelist. Look at all the countless men, women and children who came to hear “the word of the Lord” and they accepted Jesus into their lives by the hundreds.

Regretfully, and perhaps sadly of all., the Word of the Lord seems to only hit ears who want to hear. I think that’s is called selective hearing. But Gods Word calls it something else. Gods own Word calls it “itching ears” listen to Gods own Words if you won’t listen to anyone else, “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

Should we read this in its whole text?

Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

Would you beieve that there are churches who refuse to believe the first part of this scripture? Thats right they do not believe in  the following reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsufferin. The very ministers of the Word of the Lord beieve its up to God to do this work without their own voice. So if a Pastor is not telling the Word of the Lord what is he really saying? Its okay to live in sin as a Christan becasue Gods all mercyfully and forgiving? So how would one know if tey were living in sin unless the preacher tells them?

 With that said, if your listening still let me inform you of the following .

* The prophet of the Word of God is the same as the Watchman David Wilkerson preached about.

* God is the same today and forever. If God says He will do something He will do it.

* Since God dislikes sin you can be sure that no sin will enter the kingdom of God.regradless of ones thinking and r man made doctrine.

Why this message?

God says that if one does not tell another of their sins the blood of the people would be on the prophets/messengers hand. So what is the messages God wants to teach you?

• Its okay to reprove
• its okay to rebuke
• its okay to exhort with all longsuffering 
• It is lso okay to warn people of what is ahead if they choose the wrong road. If you dont warn them and have them repent their blood will be on your hands and the hands of the Prohet/Watchman of the house.

Just like in the Old Testament Prophets/Watchman of the House are placed into the body of Chrisgt for a reason.  If you continue to push them into the corner of the House of God you would be cutting off  very Word of the Lord, and then you would be misssing so much.

Last Days Message

What will happen in the last days? Plenty! But before I give you a hint you need to remember tha the very God who shows mercy did desroy mankind by a great flood that covered the Earth. Now you say that dont sound like a merciful and forgiving God However you need to understand that God was trying simply to rid the planet of sin. To make His creation Holy again. Did God fail? NO! mankind failed. What to know how God wil take care of Earth in the end? It wont be by water that we know due to His promise.

 

Here is some scriptures that perhaps your own Pastor is not telling you

2 Peter 3:10 ESV / 

But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a roar, and the heavenly bodies will be burned up and dissolved, and the earth and the works that are done on it will be exposed.

2 Peter 3:7 ESV /

But by the same word the heavens and earth that now exist are stored up for fire, being kept until the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly.

Revelation 21:1 ESV / 

Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more.

Malachi 4:1 ESV / 

“For behold, the day is coming, burning like an oven, when all the arrogant and all evildoers will be stubble. The day that is coming shall set them ablaze, says the Lord of hosts, so that it will leave them neither root nor branch.

This is now the second letter that I am writing to you, beloved. In both of them I am stirring up your sincere mind by way of reminder, that you should remember the predictions of the holy prophets and the commandment of the Lord and Savior through your apostles, knowing this first of all, that scoffers will come in the last days with scoffing, following their own sinful desires. They will say, “Where is the promise of his coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all things are continuing as they were from the beginning of creation.” For they deliberately overlook this fact, that the heavens existed long ago, and the earth was formed out of water and through water by the word of God, ...

 What is your pastor teaching you? Health weath and property? or is he warning you about the last days and the sin thats in the world even today.? If he is not warning you then Im afraid for your eternty. See it says that the wages of sin is death. Thats not just your physcial death, its your spiritual death unles you repent and turn to the Lord.I

 

Ts past time you know the truth. 

The truth that is not being told.

Sin is sin regardless of the various man made catagories. 

And 

no sin will ever enter into the Kingdom of God

Maybe 2018?

It happened years ago and it made so much sense;

 I just can no longer tolerate the winter.

 Not like I've tried, but each year things get worse and worse.

About eight maybe nine years ago my doctor suggested I move to a warmer area for medical reasons. But where do I start and where do I move?
My frame of thinking is either Hot Springs or Little Rock Arkansas. It's warmer there and I could take advantage of the hot springs for medical issues. But, is it where God wants me?

What and where do you see God wanting this writer? 

IF your a born-again Christian id like to receive your input.

See one needs to understand something; medically speaking I am not allowed really to lift anything more than five pounds. So moving anyplace means obtaining assistance for those in the faith and knowledge if Jesus who is the Christ.

"Help me if You Can" Part 1 A Christian point of view

Introduction

If, your old enough, you may remember the rock and roll group called "The Beatles" One of their many albums was simply titled Help. On the album was a song by the same name and the lyrics went  something like the following:

Help, I need somebody
Help, not just anybody
Help, you know I need someone
Help!

When I was younger, so much younger than today
I never needed anybody's help in any way
But now these days are gone I'm not so self-assured
Now I find I've changed my mind and opened up the doors

Help me if you can, I'm feeling down
And I do appreciate you being 'round
Help me get my feet back on the ground
Won't you please, please help me?

And now my life has changed in oh so many ways
My independence seems to vanish in the haze
But every now and then I feel so insecure
I know that I just need you like I've never done before

Whether or not your a Christian we all need help from time to time. To ask for help one has to  #1. be at the end of his/her rope #2 a person has swallow his/her pride #3 be willing to accept the gift. #5 there has to be a giver of the gift.

With that said I need, to enquirer which aspect which point you are in. Are you always in asking but never willing to give? You see a person can not always be asking for  help but never willing to share with others.

The Other Voice

There seems to be a voice in society where  members willing to give but only to those who are members of their church. This is indeed sad, and I see such  scripture basis for such behavior. Could you imagine Jesus and or an angel at ones door only to be refused service? Of course there would be some sort of ramification to either the church a person or persons.  But, for now listen to what Jesus had to say several years ago.  It can be located in the Gospel of Matthew chapter twenty-five. 

34   Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
35   For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
36   Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
37   Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave the drink?
38   When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
39   Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
40   And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
41   Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
42   For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:

43   I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
44   Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
45   Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
46   And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

In Closing

If we as Christians are real "doers" of the Word of the Lord then we ought to see zero people homeless and hungry .(read James 1:22) But, and looking at the streets of Detroit, Pontiac , Waterford and Flint there is something quite wrong with the picture. The problem is not so much the homeless its people taking up room in pews inside churches around America.  If you have a 4 bedroom home and your only using one bedroom what do you think it says about you?  Are you having someone you know take in homeless people but you are unwilling to have them in your own home, whats that say about you? If you think that hanging a shingle makes you special and about being a doer of the Word of the Lord  I think you need a little comfort zone adjustment.  Look at what James chapter one has to say in Gods Word

22   But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
23   For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
24   For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.
25   But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
26   If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.
27   Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

The Ministry

God gave you, as a Christian, a ministry the very second you accepted Him into your life and heart. That ministry is called reconciliation. God did not need your resume, witness, a cover letter and so forth. Fact of the matter is God gave you the ministry the very second you accepted Him into your life. Now consider the following; if the global population of Christians is around 98 million why are churches not full? Why are there people homeless? Why are there so many hungry? Your thinking "But the church down the street is doing the work so they dont need me." fact of the matter is every ministry can use a extra helping hand young and old.

Listen to what James says

17   Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
18   And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
19   To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
20   Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.
21   For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Its beyond time for you to minister to those we call homeless.

Its time to help those Christians exiting prisons.

Both need your help and your knowledge

So what are YOU going to do to help those in need today?

 Will you simply sit on your hands or will you get up and go.

While your out and about check in on someone who you know is disabled and see how YOU can help them not just today but in the days and months ahead. Maybe take them shopping on the day they get their Food Stamps or Disability benefits.

Remember what Jesus said in Matthew chapter twenty-five

Verily I say unto you, 

Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to 

me.

Alone?

Do you remember the movie Home Alone?
Well for single people thats what Christians is like for million of single people. They sit at home on Christmas day perhaps eating a simple tv dinner while watching either some movie or watching a sporting event. What about family members? Well if you have family they might invite you over for a home cooked meal. However, if your the last one in the family Christmas can be  an welcomed guest.
The latter aspect is true for this writer. So, every Christmas its a simple microwaveable tv dinner and a little time for a movie from the DVD collection. And forget the Mincemeat Pie not one grocery store sells them. So my favorite pie and ice cream go by the wayside like other traditions.

How can you help?

#1.    Adoption:  thats right adopt a single person for the holidays. treat him like family. 

#2.   Gift Giving;  find out what he or she likes and make an effort to give them a few gifts, Some people might even make a Christmas Wish list right over there on Amazon

#3.    Food: NO person should spend the holidays alone even at meal time. If you treat him or her like family find out what foods s/he likes such as does he or she like apple pies, cherry pies or maybe even mince meat pies. Maybe a person likes ham instead of turkey. Taking someone out to a restaurant does not count as it make the person feel like an outsider!

#4.   Games & TV  if your family plays games then be sure to invite him or her to play. If your family watches a sporting even invite them to watch with you. 

Church idea: perhaps in October your church could have a Adoption Day. A family adopts a known single person for the holidays where all of the above could be put into play.

Remember to treat him or her like family.

Freebies? For real!?

I freely admit I am Christian, and i'm cool by that.
I also admit that from time to time I need a little help. And if I can pay for it I will, but there is times I can not, thus I will go without. And there's time where someone will let me pay what I can afford perse.

Here's a few points to ponder about:

Is Christianity all about a free ride, perse?
The answer, believe it or not, is a Catch 22 ordeal. Allow me to explain:

#1.. There are those in the Christian community who are, in light of a better word or phrase, better off than others. Thus, if they request assistance I would expect them to give freely  as the Lord so leads. And I do not mean a mere dollar or two. I mean with something a bit more substantial, like ten or twenty dollars or more.

#2. On the other side of the spectrum there are those who are on a fixed income, disabled, and or homeless. Such individuals need assistance from time to time. Should such need help I would not expect payment but a dollar or two from them would go a long ways.

Should we, as Christians, turn people away that need help? It all comes down to the individual, their financial situation and so forth.

There is a difference between panhandling and paying for services rendered. If a Christian is offering a service by all means help the person out with a nice love offering perse.
However, if you have the opportunity to assist financially then by all means do so; do not make it look like your being selfish, God forbid!

There is a difference between a tithes and an offering in the Christian realm:

A. Tithes are what you give into God. Such funding goes to pay the Pastor, Assistant Pastor, utility bills, missionaries and so forth. (By the way the answer to the question is; no you don't have to pay your tithes to God. But why would you not do so? If you love God and believe in Him then you will.)

B. Offering is what you give outside of church needs. Example would be paying for someone's dinner at a restaurant. Helping to pay for services rendered at someone's house like computer work or fixing appliances or hand held device's and so forth.

Note:
If a Christian is homeless should they expect free rides perse?

It depends on each individual case and if he/she has a sponsor. If a person has a sponsor then I think the sponsorship ought to play a role.
Example: in auto racing, a driver will find that s/he can not afford various costs. Does the driver just chuck it in? No! They go out and find sponsors. A sponsor will say we will give you thousand of dollars if we can put our name on your car. Money received goes to pay the many bills that go into auto racing. That's why you see many stickers on race cars. Each sticker represents sponsorship.

Bottom line is as follows:

If the world knows how to help it's friends why would the Christian world not help its own too.

Many Christians are not out to make millions of dollars, like many may think, God forbid!

All many want is to be appreciated, with a little more than a handshake and or a thank you.

Even at Woodstock 69 people knew how to share and share alike. I would hope both sides have grown up since the days of "peace, love and rock and roll."

The Underddog

A vast majority of Christian ministries are listed as "non-profit" and do pretty well. listed as a But What happens when a ministry is "profit" ministry?  Truth of the matter is they strive to stay afloat, often digging into their own pockets to make ends meet. Thus the underdog as in the case of Thunderdome Ministries Network.

From 1983 to 1989 Thunderdome Ministries often published a newsletter. At one point  there was 150 subscribers each and every month. Sadly the newsletter had cease due to rising costs. What is even more sad is the fact that not one subscriber sent in funding.

 This is one example of what can transpire when the elect of outside God fail. And  part of it this is due to the thinking that they should receive just about everything free. In fact they believe that any outside assistance, such as in evangelism, should be paid little to nothing. 

Thunderdome Ministries is underdog ministry striving to stay afloat after all these years. How does the  ministry do so?  Well its simple; when there is a mountain to be moved we tell it to be gone in the name of Jesus. And we press on  moving the stones and rocks out of the way one bit at a time.
As of 1982 there has been one mountain  that yet needs to be moved,  obtaining funding for a homeless ranch(?) for the Christian community. And right now we are about three million dollars short.

The ministry mentioned above is not the only underdog ministry within the invisable walls of these United States. In  truth I would guess there are over five thousand underdog ministries. And they too need the assistance of the Christian community

It Takes....

If it takes one person to feed a family what could a group of Christians do?

They say there are over one million Christians in the United States alone. But the number of homeless people can not truly be counted. But there is a way you can help so left me explain if you please.
Thunderdome Ministries Network Inc out of Flint Michigan wants to help the homeless. However there is a catch  per se. And it goes like this:

Every year even Christians find themselves homeless either on a short term level or long term.
What if  the Christian community gathered around to assist? Here re is a plan that very well could work.

If everyone reading this could commit to giving $10 per month who know how many  it could assist. To top it off there would be no need goverment grants whatsoever. In fact as CEO of the ministry I do not want any grants from the US goverment. Why no grants you ask; simple answer is this; grants are filled with rules and  regulations.

Ever hear the phrase "Hay buddy can you spare a dime?" That phrase came out of the days of the Hobo  and depression era. Today you can not get a cup of coffee for a dime. In fact many restaurants charge  a dollar or more. Now the question to you is as follows;

Hay mister can you spare $10 per month committing to at least 6 months?

What you dont know about.....

By this time you already know a little about Thunderdome Ministries Network Inc. In fact you are reading material right from the pen of the founder  and CEO of the ministry. So allown me to pin point a few things for you as the year starts drawing to a close.

#1. The ministry is faith based.
#2. The ministry is not a 401c3 non profit ministry. Yet we sell nothing to raise funds. If the ministry needs it then the money comes out of my own pocket. It has been this way dating all the way back to  the Spring of 1982.
#3. The ministry does have a small staff consisting of only three men of God. No more no less.

Would it Work? Unity or Strife?

Question................What would work ?
Answer...................Unity in the body of Christ.
Q............................How do you prove there is unity in the body of Christ?
A,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Demonstration. Does not the Christians song say "they will know we are Christians by our love?"

Q......................... How should the body of Christ prove it?
A......................... This is a multifold answer
#1.  going to a Christians home regardless what church s/he may be attending. Failure to do so does  not show unity but division.
You see in the mindset of God there is addition and multiplying. In Satan mindset there is only subtraction and division .
#2.  another way is to hold a visit another church Sunday by the entire congregation.  Could you picture the look on a Pastors face when an entire congratulation shows up at his church?
#3... Renovate a church to make it totally barrier free for the disabled. If you look, really look, 99.9% of the churches around the globe are not barrier free. This sets up an appearance that the disabled are not welcome. You need to understand that Jesus id not come to minister so much to the healthy but those who are sick. Read Mark 2:17
This was understood best by the late Oral Roberts and Kathryn Kuhlman

Lastly, and importantly is this: there are no denominations in heaven! Christians need to put aside religious and denominational doctrines of which has cause strife and divisions in the church. And what did I pen earlier? God adds and multiply while Satan subtracts and divides.

As a Christian which do you prefer? envy and strife? or peace that surpasses all understanding with and in God and His moral and heavenly laws.






                                                                                       

I Am Me

Over the Easter season of 2016 I lost my spiritual mentor, spiritual father,  best friend, tennis partner, chess partner and so much more. Its still hard to talk about my friend Pastor Richard E. Blue as he meant so much to me over the 26 years we were together.

After his departure from this planet I frankly was lost. I knew I had a task to do with the Lord but I was still at a loss. Which way do I go left? or how about right? or how about I just take the middle ground and  play it safe. Even to this date May 21st I want to pick up the phone and talk to my best friend, then in a small way I remember. I remember he is gone but God is not.

Even as I pen this I hear the voice of te Lord saying, "Do you trust me?" and I answer indeed I trust the Lord with all my heart so whats next?

First, God says, "be yourself. Don't be Pastor Blue but use the tools we taught you." Then I say, Lord they wont listen people are just not all that fond of me so what do I do?  "Its their loss." Says the Lord "You have much to teach them and share with them if only they would listen. Does it not say that I will teach them by my Spirit? "  I understand more about Moses and Jeremiah as it seems they had speech problems. But God always finds a way to get the task done.

"Be Yourself" yes that's what the Lord said, simply, "Be yourself."  But who am I Lord? "You are whom I made and love. I even gave you tools to use." Now I know that God gave us His Word but He gave us more. God gave us the Holy Spirit who, according to scripture will teach us and guild us in all things. Yes even in the things of God.

People may not like yours truly. But the fact of the matter is the very "God who is rich in mercy" wants me to press on. Press on? Yes indeed, press on to the mark of the high calling of Jesus who is the Christ the very Son of the living God.  Indeed press on.

Press on? But how?  God game me a learning tool, a teacher, a pastor, a friend. While that person is gone the lessons and example he left behind are for my use. There are a lot of tools Pastor Richard "Dick" Blue gave me but the one thing that sticks out the most is as follows, just be yourself and teach and  preach what God has given me.

As of others? well I cant not vouch for them but I can teach them if they are willing to learn? And if they fail to learn, then it is their loss, their rebellion.
By the way, God gave the church an example that needs to be mentioned before closing and here it is;

Ananias & Sapphira that's right the lessons of Ananias, & Sapphira  found in  Acts chapter five.

You see they had said they would give unto the church. But they said they would hold back a portion of what they were to give. Their punishment was death. But how can you learn from this story of the early church? Here it is in a nutshell:

When you make an oath unto the Lord and to a fellow believer you are required to keep that oath.
Otherwise it becomes the sin of disobedience and that my dear reader is as the sin of witchcraft and if you have read Gods Word enough then you know the punishment for such.

But wait you say, you cant afford to do the entire oath in a lump sum situation?  Then do the oath in parts, provided the both of you agree. Just make sure you honor the entire oath. Forgetfulness is a far cry from an excuse. If need be write down the oath and make copies, one for you and one for the other person.

BE yourself/

Yes, be yourself. God made you, taught you, left His Holy Spirit just for you to be you.
Its hard to travel the road without a mentor and best friend. "But God who is rich in mercy" (Ephesians 2:4) has brought you to this point for a reason. That reason is rather simple; to move forward with the "ministry of reconciliation." And so the person who  God has made did so with a mission in life,

 Be yourself in all you do. Be whomever your meant to be by Christ Jesus.
Don't try to be like your Pastor, your Sunday School teacher and so forth instead be yourself.

I am me in HIM

By the way I need to to add this following:

In recent 30 plus days some Christians have been lead by the Lord to help with the repairs of my 007 Dodge Caliber. But you have failed to come through for your brother in the household of faith.
Yes, God has shown me that there are many who has lead to assist in this need. But you have used excuse after excuse not to assist. Even going so far as thinkning how much you dislike yours truly.

So I say this:  you have two choices, just like there are two sides to a sheet of paper.

You can continue in your rebellion and pay the price. 

Or

You can give and or assist in this need and see the blessings flow afterwords.

Now Im going to stick my neck out on a limb and say the following:

There is a Christian who has a Dodge dealership/repair business. And God mentioned to you of taking up this need in full and make all repairs as if the car would be new.
However, you have failed thus far to produce the fruit that is required of thee. You know who you are so you need to make things right between you and God in this matter
So, dearly beloved, will you come out of hiding and do the right thing? Or will you continue leaving a member of the household of faith in bondage?

Just a reminder of sorts: Chick tracts do get read.
But according to stats: every tract gets read at least 10-15 times. Those are seeds for the kingdom of God. The next step is for some one to water those seeds.

Majors & Minors

For ages upon ages there has been both minor and major prophets. Ezekiel for one was a major prophet. Amos is considered a minor. Got the picture yet?

Thus, this writing is not about some musical score. Nor even about various movies you may have seen or heard through the anals of time.

Let us flash forward to this day and age and see what is developing;

Today there is a voice crying in the wilderness about various issues in the "Christian" church. The problem is as follows, no one is listening. The professing Christians think various thoughts and dismiss the "Word of the Lord," considering s/he is a "little off their rocker."

Next thing you know, and perhaps years down a special speaker is brought in for, perse, a moment in time.
What the Christians hear is what was spoken once before. And guess what transpires.
Everyone gets all excited, the hairs in the back of their necks stick up and there is praise rising up like never before. And again its the same message as the "crazy one" spoke years ago.

Here is what Gods elect truly need to do as we draw closer to the end times:

#1.  The dear elect of Christ need to "hear what the Spirit of the Lord"  says regardless if it comes from a major or minor minister of the Lord.
#2. Instead of a message going in one ear and out the other it needs to stick like Velcro.
#3. If change is mentioned then make the change. God is not slack about His Word. In fact He's a lot like E.F. Hutton, when God speaks everyone needs to listen.

Remember this dear reader:
As God knocks on the door, it is our responsibility to open it.
Failure to open is a sign of rejection and that dear reader comes awfully close to rebellion and that, according to God's Word is equal to that of witchcraft. And witchcraft is punishable by nothing less than death.

God has a great deal to speak to the church. Some of it is locally. And, here is a real nail biter, some will be meant for the church on a global scale.

So what are you going to do when a major or minor speaker has a "word from the Lord" for you?
What will your church do when the "Word of the Lord" comes forth? (And, for those churches who don't believe, hear this warning, failure to open the door could result is nasty side effects.)

Remember this:
If God can use a Jeremiah or a David or even one crying out of the wilderness God can and will use as He pleases!

,***One final note here.***

Just as it was Ezekiel and Jeremiah had the responsibility to speak the "Word of the Lord" it is also the case in today's society.
If the one crying out if the wilderness does not speak the Word, then the blood is on his hands.
Thus there lies a responsibility that is quite awesome indeed.
And if ye listen to the "Word of the Lord" then the listener has a responsibility.

Single or married?

Regardless what race, creed or color of your skin it comes down to this:

Single or married?

If your married there is lots to do. Plus there are hundreds of discounts available. Lets look at a few shall we?

• Discounts at theme parks like Cedar Point, Six Flags or at any number od Disney parks.
• Discounts for  cruises
• Perhaps discounts for hotel rooms
• Family afternoon/night at movies
• Father-son events
• Father-daughter dances

The above is only a few. But what about those who are single or divorced?

•  Divorce support group
• Bowling leagues 
• Softball teams
• Single parents events

 But wait! STOP THE PRESSES! There has to be more for singles right?

Several years ago several Christian had a Friday or Saturday night event. We would get together at some ones house or apartment to watch Christian movies. In time this faded into the sunset like a good Indiana Jones movie.

Lets take a look at churches: How many events and or classes does your place of worship have for singles? per week? per month? per year?

Does it seem that every sermon is direct towards the "family?" Or  hints are given to singles that go something like this, "for those who are single, you'll need this in case you ever get married."

Lets face the fact: to be single/divorced means you are part of a minority. Of course certain people would/will deny that statement. Yet we all know its true. But, is there hidden benefits to being single? The answer is yes!

• Tom Cruise showed us in the movie Top Gun: Yes its nice to run around the house in your underwear.It sure saves on the laundry bill.
• Food; you only have to cook for one. Better yet TV dinners have just the right portion and there are no left overs.
• Having more time for ministry work or Bible studies.

Yes there are down sides to being single. But that is a situation that many singles work out for themself  as time proceeds  forward.

Regardless how much your single a person must not forget that s/he always has one friend for all eternity,  "This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. These things I command you, that ye love one another." John 15: 12-17

In closing remember the following whether in the pulpit  or not

Single people 

are 

as human as those who are married.
