The Calling

Allow me to set the stage, if you please:

Early 1988
I was in Lindale/Tyler Texas doing my discipleship training when I heard the call. In the middle of the night I woke up and took a walk. It was then I heard God telling me to return to Oakland County Michigan. Like Sarah and Abraham I scoffed at this. After all Gid did call me to Texas now He wants me back in Michigan.
I told no one and went about my business of learning Gods Word and ways. It was at this time I met the late Reverand Leonard Ravenhill out of the blue on a Saturday night meeting at Last Days Ministry.
The next day, at church a brother in the faith confronts me and says, "God wants you back in Michigan right?'  Of course I confirmed it and told him I had no way to earn or get the funds to return. Days later God provided the plane trip from Dallas to Detroit. That was good but getting from Lindale to Dallas was the next problem. Again someone came up to me and said something I already knew, God provides. And that He did and I packed my bags and I received help getting to the airport. Before leaving Texas a Christian lady gave me a very expensive Dakes Bible, a leather covering and what we call cheat tabs.

Back in Michigan in weeks before my birthday all legal ramifications were met and I had a temporary roof over my head all thanks to the Lord. Then the news came, from one Terry Davis, the very one that led me to the Lird back in April 1982. "I have someone for you to meet. You both have the same ministry" said Terry.
So on August 22 1988 I met Pastor Richard E. Blue. From that day until 9f his death some twenty years later it was a grand learning experience. I learned not only the scriptures but how to teach, preach and even did missionary work in WaWa Canada for several summers. All the while knowing God not only is on the throne but when God calls to be ready.

Summer 2018
Several months ago I heard God calling me to Arkansas but did not know to which city. That's when I sent away for travel material to learn more. One day Hot Springs & Little Rock popped off the map just like the Word of God does. Recently, and after much prayer and consideration Hot Springs came to mind while searching for a house and a church.
Then I seen this church, who will remain un-named until later, that was sitting on a hill.
Just why would want this writer not only in Hot Springs but why this church I never laid on upon was my first question.
The second was how am I to sell my present house when I'm committed to one of the two mortgages until the year December 2021?
And how can I buy a house unseen in an area virtually unknown to myself? After all, I'm on a fixed income and going back into the workforce is not an option.
Then, just like now I heard the voice of the Lord say, "Have faith, you've done this before." I agreed with the Lord on this, despite what the enemy will say along the way. God will even find ways and means to nicely furnish my house in Hot Springs as I will leave so much behind.

So, dear reader now you too know about this call on my life from the one who knows me the most.

So here I am taking another leap in faith but far better equipped in the ministry of Evangelism let alone the Word of God.

I'm NOT going to inform you of the financial aspect of this calling. But, I look at it this way; if this calling is truly of the Lord then God will supply to every need, want and aspect as He has done over the years.

So be it in the name of Jesus!

Yours in Christ Jesus

Make or breakna vow

Make or break a vow!?

Explain: many times people say they will do one thing and either (this falls on both the spiritual and secular sides of the isle)
#1 not do it at all or
#2 they will play you so close to the vest you dont know if its truth or lies

To those that depend on the kindness of a friend or stranger this can be very frustrating. Examples? And these are only examples.

Example #1. Your waiting for a return phone call/text as you know s/he has a cellphone. But that important return never comes. Have you been played a fool?

Example #2. Your waiting at a hospital for a ride home but because of example #1 you don't know if that ride will arrive. Eventually even hospital staff get concerned and try to offer solutions.

Example #3. Your not truly to be behind the wheel of a car until a doctor clears you. So, you hope,  friends will help you until your cleared. But when? Will the help arrive after you run out of groceries or essenials?

Example #4 you say you will help but you give no time frame. This leave people wondering if by your really arriving or not. A person may as well be waiting at a bus stop where no busses even run.

Whether your a professing Christian or not matters little in the above examples.  Truth of the matter is, when people need your assistance be.. RESPECTFULL!  tell the truth or help make other arrangements to help those whose depending on you. One thing a person sitting in a hospital getting discharged or a person waiting to go shopping desire is to be treated with
#1. Honesty/truth
#2. Respect

Did you know that when you say/pen that  you will do something your creating a vow between yourself, the second person and its witnessed in heaven?

I wonder what God thinks about vow breakers?
In short treat others like you want to be treated.

There was a saying years ago that went as follows

"If you have no respect for yourself you wont have any respect for others." --source unknown

Your Fired!

Your Fired!
Friday, July 03, 2009

The title of this message was virtually set in stone by the financial magnet Donald Trump and so lets presume that instead of dear old Donald being in charge it is God.

So now allow me to set the stage;
You have a decent job. It pays enough to pay the bills, feeds the family, put food on the table, provides a roof over your head and then there is a little money left over to go to the movies or go to the amusement park or even take a vacation. However, while you’re at work what do you do when your boss gives you an assignment; do you  A. do the job asked of you? B you take a long break off the work site only to do the work later? C you don’t do the work at all?
A majority of you would answer that you would choose A and do the work right? However, what if you never did the work at all? What do you think the end result would be? Let’s take a look; The end result is one of the following but you choose the answer.

Does your boss

1.pat you on the back and tell you did good?
2.give you some other reward like free tickets to a baseball game or a trip around the world?
3.after repeated requests to do your job the boss sends you out the door with your bags packed and tells you he will mail you your last check?

Of course after not doing your job after many requests you would find yourself out the door waiting at home for your last check. And not surprisingly your boss would be doing the right thing right?

So now let us take a look at your job performance as a professing Christian.

And as our base we will use the following scriptures; first  John 15 1-12 and it reads as follows

I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.  Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends

Now that scripture may sound complex and your job description a little vague. So let us go to another scripture Matthew 28: 19 & 20 and it reads as follows;

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Do those words clarify your job description as a Child of the highest God? Thus, your job, your task, in your walk with the Lord is to tell others about the saving knowledge of Jesus. Therefore, just like an apple tree brings forth apples and not pears your task is to bring forth more people for the Kingdom of Light. That is unless you prefer to see people living for all eternity in eternal damnation.

A vast majority of people professing to be Christians have been running to the Pastor and asking for a ministry. And I just wonder if the pastor is not just scratching his head a time or two. For if, and I say if God’s people were really reading God’s Word they would have seen and known that they already have a job to do. Allow me to show you what God has been saying for countless generations; If you have your Bibles at hand open up to 2nd Corinthians 5:17-18 and it reads as follows;

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

Thusly, your task as a born again Christian is to do something that may make you feel uncomfortable and tell others about what Jesus did for not only you, but for the countless thousands upon thousands. For you see, you, yes you are an ambassador for Christ as it is written in 2nd Corinthians 5: 19-20

To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.

For countless years the church  brainwashed the congregations it was the pastors job to reach the lost. Just like they told them that the Word of God was only for them to read. Well, here is the skinny, they lied and countless millions like you have been lied to. That is exactly where Satan wanted them and has held them. Well the lie and the liar is exposed here and now! Now you know the truth and as we know God is truth and in His is no lie.
This means only one thing. As Christians we have a job to do! We represent not only ourselves, not only Jesus, not only God, but we represent the total Kingdom of God. And those who do not do the job God will purge them like a person who is refining gold. The choice is yours and yours alone what will you do with this Man of God named Jesus? Will you be selfish and keep Him to yourself or will you share the love and tell others?

Herein, God, for the most part has issued you your matching orders. He has given you a job to do as one of His ambassadors. What will you do? Will you run away as a coward? Or will you stand tall and do your task with pride and honor?

You need to remember that God loved you so very much and wanted to restore fellowship with you that He gave all He had. So He could have fellowship with you and countless millions like you. God did not do all this just to condemn the world but through Him the world might be saved as it is written in John 3: 17 listen to what God said  for yourself; For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.  Or so that you and me would and could be reconciled to Him.

So dear friend  are you going to run away from your task ashamed of what you know? For If you do then you need to consider these words; And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.  For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away?  For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels.  As it is written in Luke 9:23-26.

God loves not only you, dear Christian! But god loves the whole world. This is why He gave not just anybody but instead His only Son. So you can have life and life more abundantly. And here is good news for every one.

If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:  But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.  As it is written in 1st John 1: 6-9

So, no matter if you never have received Jesus as your Savior or if you have known Him for ages this very day, this very moment can be and should be a time of newness for you. for as it is written.
(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.) 2nd Corinthians 6:2

So which way will you choose? Life eternal with God or eternal damnation with the father of lies? Will you go about in these last days with itching ears only hearing what you want so that you feel good? Or will you obey God’s words and not only accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior but also obey the words of your Commander that gave you orders as well as the ministry of reconciliation.

IF you are saying that you have neglected your duty as a member of the household of faith I have good news for your. And if you are saying that you would like to know this Jesus who gave His life for you so that you can have life and life more abundantly then right this moment won’t you ask Him for forgiveness?  But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;  That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thane heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.   For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.  As it is written in Romans 10: 8-10

For this is your time to get things right with God. Which road will you choice this very day?

Bad way to start....?

They say the number eight(8) is a sign of new beginnings. Okay, I say lets prove it and you can make a determination:
Oil
1988 I find my way to Texas meet some Christian friends, attend a local church and all seem fine in Texas.
Then In recalled to the state of Michigan where I grew up 99.9% of my life. I meet a Pastor who became my mentor for 26 years, a great thing right?
Some where in this era I bought a Asus G60 laptop. Great piece of hardware except now it sits in need of repairs.
Lastly, I wind up losing a friend over a error is judgment on both sides of the coin, if you please.

                              Fast forward
                            Janauary 2018

With the loss of my friend, financial advisor and all my financial records I move onward. After all, in life we can expect gains and losses, even friendships if you please.

Then, one morning Microsoft sent my newer Asus laptop some updates. The laptop NEVER recovered when it went into a restart. All I get us this black screen with a whirls icon that sits there for hours. So I attempt to use every shortcut I remember of my 15 plus years experience with desktop and laptop computers. End result...... zip.... zilch....nothing. I am dead in the water as they might say.

Then, even though I am paying on my Flint Michigan water bill I get what amounts to, shall we say, a nasty letter demanding more money than I have period. So now I'm faced with two disasters. As if that is not enough right? Wrong!

Of you read my last rambling you would know of the water breach in the basement due to an all day rains and very warm temperatures. Now I have this mess and the story does not end there; according to my insurance agent I need funds, that I don't have, in order to get a cleanup & repair crews in to take care of the flood.

                                       In Short

I no longer buy into the idea that the number eight is a sign of new beginnings. Unless you want to talk about disasters, malfunctions and lack of funding then I might buy into it.

                                   Life is good?

Despite pitfalls and so forth life still is better than before. At least I am not in prison, even though prison life does have its perks. At least In not living in an apartment where you may get loud neighbors from time to time. But with an apartment there's no grass to mow, snow to shovel or plow.

Life is good if you have a relationship with the very God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. A life built on faith, trust and belief is better than a life....in a body bag.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope I didn't bore you!

Signed

Plea for help

Help is more than an old song the Beatles say back in the 1960's,  in truth it is a plea for assistance from family, friends, churches or even government agencies.

So now that the framework has been set allow this writer to inquire for assistance from you the reader.

#1. From apartment to home ownership. Having an apartment can be a both a blessing and a curse. The main blessing is apartment dwellers do not have the costs of home ownership such as home maintance such as roof and basement repairs or remodeling. Then there is the various costs to landscaping such as mowing the lawn or driveway repairs and costs.
In short apartment dwellers may be having a field day over those home owners.

#2. No matter which side of the tracks you are on there will always be realm of economics. This can be far more felt if, and only if you are in the lower middle class or lower. Then too there are those, each as this writer who fall into any or all  of the following;
2a. Senior citizen
2b. Fixed income
2c. Disabled, legally
2d. Veteran
2e. Homeless

All of those mentioned above there is one thing that remains the same; an up hill battle to get ahead in life and live in the mid middle class of society or above.

As for this writer? Well I fall into several aspects of the above mentioned. And so when a person is financially hurting it can, and perhaps often there is little to zero assistance. Except when your faith is in God and His Word. For countless Christisns such as myself there is the firm belief that "God will supply to all our needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus."  But, and here's the kicker, God uses others to help those in need because money does not truly grow on trees.

What am I getting at?
What is my point?

Yours truly needs your deep financial assistance this year in several categories

A) Personal: such as new clothing
C) Transportation: car repairs and maintance
D) Home improvement(s): new roof, gutters, doors windows, landscaping and lastly new insulation.
E) Bills: utilities such as water, electric, gas and telephone

Being 64 plus, on disability and on a fixed income comes down to the trifecta of financial hardships. Will God supply to the needs? Since His Word says He will then that's what God will do. However, God uses people to be His hands and feet.

So, reader, where do you stand? Will you be a gawker or will you be Gods hands and feet?

IF God is leading you to assist?  If so you can asdist by sending funding( in US dollars only please) to the following;

#1.  Littlethunders. Paypal account

#2.  via snailmail by means of your certified check or money order to

David Libeler
3513 Clairmonet Street
Flint Michigan USA
48503-6602

Please highly consider assisting as my house/home needs various home imorovements that a simple fixed income can not handle in any way shape or form.

Thank you for your financial love gift in advance.  With your assistance maybe all the mention home improvements will transpire in 2018.

Thou shalt not borrow?

Throughout 2017 i heard the words borrow and loan. And i will not at this junction inform you where I heard the mentioned words. What i can inform you is the following:
No place and in no dictionary I have ever laid eyes upon did the meaning of said words say a person is to keep an item.
In fact, i do believe, that to keep a loaned or borrowed item is reflective of that as to theft or stealing. And if my brain recalls does not God Himself frown on individuals stealing from each other!?
Oh you may be saying, or thinking, " but I'm not under the law but grace." But i say that does not give you a license to do, or take what you please. Example, while you may indeed be under grace it does not give you the license to shoplift, not stop at stop signs it stop lights. In fact did you know that in some countries if your caught stealing what the punishment is? In some countries the chop off your hand or worse.

Why do i bring this subject to your attention?
Lets say, as an example, you had only one SD memory card for your camera, ok? And you loaned it to someone. But in the course of days, months or years it was never returned. At what stage is such a cause classified as theft? 30 days? 60 or even 90 days?

As a professing Christian i hear the phrase " let me borrow if from you" but months or years later its "lost" What does that ell you about the person who borrowed the item? Would you trust him/her again, really would you?

Because I've witnessed things myself i try to be careful what i loan out to others.
Here is a list what not to loan out;
A.  Laptops, computers
B.  Smartphones, cellphones
C.  SD, flash or thumb drives
D.  VHS,DVD and or Blueray movies
E.   Books and or reading material

So how do you put a stop to this madness? Tell the person politely either no or i can't. If the person pushes you then a red flag ought to go up right away. Of course they will say, "ahh what's it going to hurt?" And that ought to be the end of the story.
And if you do loan stuff out and its not returned then you know "the rest of the story" as the late Paul Harvey once said

To loan, or to borrow, without the items return, is still theft regardless who borrows.

Peace

I remember the song War by Edwin Star that reaches far back as to the days of Viet Nam Not those copycat editions but the one that started it all. It was 1969 and they belted out the words WAR what is it good for? Absolutely nothing. Those words still ring crisp in my ears as if it were yesterday. Oh wait, it was yesterday, if you please.

When you think of war you think of Hitler, Alexander the Great, Napolian and perhaps the Roman Empire.  All had ideas that could change the world. It was not about religion. It was about world domination, greed and hate.
The last conflicts were known as Korea and Viet Nam. The former I was born the day the peace treaty was signed. The later I was blessed enough not to get drafted, but many who did never returned.

For countless ages Israel has fended off its enemies in order to keep a land promised by the God of such people as Moses, Noah, Isaac, Jacob, Abrham and so forth. And, for some reason the only peace they find, while thousands die every year, the peace they find lies only in their hearts and faith that the great I Am will see them throughto a better day

There are as least three evils in today's societies. Isis, North Korea and the Palestinians. All want war or threaten to make war. And for what reasoning? There is a hole in their hearts where the peace of God ought to  live.
What good is peace when your not at peace with yourself? In the worlds dating back to Woodstock 1969 Absolutely nothing.

Be at peace with yourself and with the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and you will lend peace with the world.

Shalom

2016 Hindsight

So here we are only hours from the swearing in of one Donald D
Trump as out new President of these United States of America.
Thus,  all the campaigns are finished and the country can move forward. In a nutshell that's what transpired in 2016 nationally.

However,  this blog entry is about yours truly. So,  let's take a brief look back at 2016 from my view;

The year started out just fine with visions and goals. Some of those goals I've shared before; you know the one entry about not being able to do this or that.
Yes,  while others were having a grand OK time going to the beach,  watching the fireworks, shopping for new cloths,  going out on a photo shoot I was stuck at home. Yea,  my friends took me grocery shopping and or to church there was times I wanted to excape.
Oh yes I did! Example I wanted to attend a Newsboys concert or some other Christian concert. Problem was I had no car to get me from here to there and so forth. In fact I've been housebound since April 5th 2016. And its just not that but picture yourself missing out on many activities I enjoy.

While I'm glad I have a roof over my house one still likes to engage in hobbies,  sporting events and such to unwind,  right?

Oh,  in case you did not know my 2007 Dodge Caliber blew a drivers side ball joint. Once fixed it was learned that certain parts were rusted out because Dodge forgot to put rustproofing on the parts. Now you would think that Dodge would correct the problem without charge right? Well its not the case. After several phone call Dodge said there would be no problem and would do repairs under warranty. So we got the car towed to a local Dodge dealership only to find out that its going to cost some $2000,  ouch right?

So here I am nearly 2am writing this summery of which you may have found boring. Well,  that's kind of what 2016 was like for me. A year of valleys,  hills and even more valleys (actually they felt more like Grand Canyon experiences.) But this I know the sun will come our and there will be better days. There has to be better days.

So how can I remain so positive? It comes via experience. Even people in the Bible had good and bad days. But they were able to rise above their troubles due to their faith in God. And as my faith grows I too can see a better tomorrow just over the horizon. A tomorrow filled with the love and peace of God that surpasssss all understanding.

Farewell 2016
Farewell President Obama

Hello America
Welcome aboard Mr President Donald J. Trump
And of course I close with...

Thank you God for holding me in your arms in 2016. Me us move forward together hand in hand into 2017.

Thank you dear reader for stopping by and reading my first entry for 2017. I hope you return often for updates and other entries through this new year.

Gods Word Says

1 Timothy 4Amplified Bible (AMP)

Apostasy

But the [Holy] Spirit explicitly and unmistakably declares that in later times some will turn away from the faith, paying attention instead to deceitful and seductive spirits and doctrines of demons, [misled] by the hypocrisy of liars whose consciences are seared as with a branding iron [leaving them incapable of ethical functioning], who forbid marriage and advocate abstaining from [certain kinds of] foods which God has created to be gratefully shared by those who believe and have [a clear] knowledge of the truth. For everything God has created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with gratitude; for it is sanctified [set apart, dedicated to God] by means of the word of God and prayer.

A Good Minister’s Discipline

If you point out these instructions to the [a]brothers and sisters, you will be a good servant of Christ Jesus, constantly nourished [through study] on the words of the faith and of the good [Christian] doctrine which you have closely followed.

Would it Work? Unity or Strife?

Question................What would work ?
Answer...................Unity in the body of Christ.
Q............................How do you prove there is unity in the body of Christ?
A,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Demonstration. Does not the Christians song say "they will know we are Christians by our love?"

Q......................... How should the body of Christ prove it?
A......................... This is a multifold answer
#1.  going to a Christians home regardless what church s/he may be attending. Failure to do so does  not show unity but division.
You see in the mindset of God there is addition and multiplying. In Satan mindset there is only subtraction and division .
#2.  another way is to hold a visit another church Sunday by the entire congregation.  Could you picture the look on a Pastors face when an entire congratulation shows up at his church?
#3... Renovate a church to make it totally barrier free for the disabled. If you look, really look, 99.9% of the churches around the globe are not barrier free. This sets up an appearance that the disabled are not welcome. You need to understand that Jesus id not come to minister so much to the healthy but those who are sick. Read Mark 2:17
This was understood best by the late Oral Roberts and Kathryn Kuhlman

Lastly, and importantly is this: there are no denominations in heaven! Christians need to put aside religious and denominational doctrines of which has cause strife and divisions in the church. And what did I pen earlier? God adds and multiply while Satan subtracts and divides.

As a Christian which do you prefer? envy and strife? or peace that surpasses all understanding with and in God and His moral and heavenly laws.

URGENT

Do you have Chick tracts laying around your house?
They are needed for this Saturday's Woodward Dream Cruise.
Give or send them to either Lawrence Adell Sefa or mail/deliver them directly to me @

                                             David Liebler/Founder
                      Thunderdome Ministries Network Inc.
                                       3513 Clairmont Street
                                                Flint Michigan
                                                  48503-6602

The latest we can receive them would be Friday August 14th @ 5pm
Usually a team attends this event with up to 1000 tracts.
However, at this point there is no tracts and only brother Lawrence and myself are attending.

If you desire to be part of the team please be at my house by Saturday August 15 @ 9:15am
Prayerfully we will have Chick tracts to pass out the day of the event.

Just a reminder of sorts: Chick tracts do get read.
But according to stats: every tract gets read at least 10-15 times. Those are seeds for the kingdom of God. The next step is for some one to water those seeds.
BUT it must be kept in mind that it is GOD that gives the increase.

DONT let those Chick tracts just lay around your house. Instead, put them to good use.

Will YOU help us reach a little corner of the world this Saturday?

Is It Right?

Have you ever had a gut instinct that something is not quite right? Allow me to explain:
In Second Corinthians chapter five we read that as believers our job is to tell others about the saving knowledge of Jesus.
But, and here is my point, does the scripture tell us to change peoples culture?

For several hundreds of years well meaning missionaries have done just that. Case in point is the Native American Indians. If you were to go to a Indian reservation you would NOT see the true culture taking place. Instead you would see a watered down whites man's version. That's because missionaries changed their culture. You see this taking place even in Canada. Thus, what was pure to them has been stripped away.

Gods Word simply says Go into all the world and preach the gospel. It does not say to change the culture or another person way of life!
Another example is this: in the far east certain people believe its okay to do such and such. But Americans, even professing Christians, see what was is transpiring and  try to bring it to a halt.
As Americans we have zero right to change the laws and cultures of another country.
Just like people coming from other countries have zero right to force Americans to obey a forgeign culture or law.

Simple put: if your reading this and your per chance a Muslim please don't push your rules, laws and cultures on the people of the United States.
Americans: just because you see something in a different country that offends you please do the following: STOP! Don't try changing the laws, rules and culture in another country.

Remember
this: when Jesus choose his disciples he took them as they were. If they were fishermen and smelled like fish Jesus took them as they were, stink and all. Along the way I would have to bet that those same fishermen did get cleaned up along the way.
We are born again by grace and not of works lest any man should boast. And that's how I came to Him, just as I was.

Now, go and tell the world about Jesus and accept the man or woman just as they are, flaws and all.
