If I could

If AI could. I would reach through the World Wide Web, Telnet, and even Internet and give #Microsoft a huge piece if my mind. Plus the bill for repairs to one certain laptop.  Allow me to explain;

Not long ago I took on upgrades from Microsoft, just like countless other people recently. What happened next changed my surfing experence. Like others, I learned a few days ago, I became a victim of a  Microsoft update. When my system went to restart I might as well received the dreaded "blue screen of death." That's right, system just would not go beyond the motherboard screen. The system just stalled out, or otherwise known as it was stuck in an endless loop.

When I contacted Computer Junkies in Burton Michigan they informed me that what transpired was not my fault. Instead what transpired has happened to millions of other as well. Their words calmed me down for the most part until I remembered what all was on the laptop; all my music, all photos, passwords, bookmarks, materials to create and maintain my websites and much more.

Can the laptop be recovered?  It seems that way, but at an expense I can not afford at the time of this writing.  The good part is, my original laptop(an Asus G60) is also repairable as well. Thus, when funds land in this direction(outside of home repairs as previously mentioned in other posts) I will have access to two Asus gaming laptops. Thus, one for backup and the other every day use.

DOWN is not up

Oh the morning of January third all was well, or was it?

My laptop was taking updates from Microsoft when it all transpired. When the updates was finished it went right to doing a restart.
Then BANG my laptop just sat their with a black screen and this little white gif going round and around for over an hour. I knew it was not right. NO updates, and its restart, lasts over an hour, non that I know of in my 15 years of computer history.

With the above transpiring, I unplugged the laptop and turned it completely off.  Then, I attempted every every shortcut I knew to at least try to restore my Asus laptop that I bought out of the Microsoft Store in January of 2016; yes its out if warranty. And I am truly bummed out.

To compound the issue I get the screen where I can have the system repair itself. And guess what transpires.  Yepper, it writes back that Microsoft found a problem and could not restore my system. So I move on to the other suggestions and guess that what transpires. The aspect where I could restore and keep my files failed. As did the last final straw in the line, the total restore where I would lose everything.

Now, I have not one but two Asus laptops that need restoration; Asus G60 and the one mentioned above the Asus TP50L.

What is sad is the following first i am writing this on my LGV21 Android tablet so I'm not totally cut off from the World Wide Web. Thus, I home some freedom to inquire for your assistance.

(If your thinking I picked up a virus I would say I seriously doubt it. Reason: in using Windows Defender plus another reliably piece of software as backup. Plus my firewall at my end at at my ISPs end.)

Whats Up With That?

Over the years not much has trnspired with cellphones. They are, for all reasoning,  diodes-resistors and so forth. All given the user the abilty to talk to someone both near and far. As time moved forward cellphones have gotten lighter and smarter. Well, maybe lighter the smarter has a lot to do with humans abilty to program the magic bionary code's.

Onething that has failed to improve is a cellphones battery. Now IF you dont make any calls or use any apps a battery can lost hours if not days. But you and me know one common thing: cell phones are to be used and not to be used as a nic-nack. So what should one do?

#1. Carry with you an external rechargeable barrery source that you can recharge your cellphone but perhaps your tablet as well. And if you can keep a secret: i do this during church quietly. When leaving i have either a partially or fully recharged system.
#2. While traveling down the road one can recharge their cellphone using a simple cigarette littler adaptor.Nowdays they may come with two plug-ins so you can recharge both cellphone and tablet together. If your driving short distances this MAY not be a workable/fesable solution.

Ive had cellphones since the ol' G1 and battery life has always been an issue.  So why does not someone comeout with a better and more effecent battery? Honestly, dear reader my way of thinking comes down to one word, money.

Maybe companies like Apple, Microsoft, LG and so forth need to stop creating "smartphones" for a while and come up with better batteries. What do you think?
