Each and every day a person ought to read Gods Word. Why you ask. Do you will not only know the truth but to build up your mist holy faith. That's right, to build up your faith. Because your faith is like a bank. The more faith you put in the greater you can "fight the good fight of faith."

But, regretfully there is more to this adventure as you hopefully walk with God:

Along your way you will come across those who will put aside godliness to talk about just about anything they desire. However when and if any person brings forth a scripture they seem to play a magic act and slowly sweep it aside. Maybe even going to say its "out of context." You see as you study Gids Word you will, or ought to recognize that a person just might fall into s certain category. And mind you here I will use scriptures that can not be denied.

I believe I have given ample evidence what one ought to look for when listening to a "teacher."

When a person says they don't assemble with fellow believers in a church setting thay alone ought to raise a red flag.
You see when your with other believers in a church setting such as Sunday Scool or the main service your faith is built up. Not so much by the preaching or teaching but by the interaction with other believers. In other words your sharpening your faith skills aka iron is sharpening iron.

Be diligent dear reader.
Watch what you see.
Listen carefully to what you hear.
And if a person pushes away scriptures to aside I frankly would be careful to his or her instructions and teaching.

Always test the teachings and see if they lineup with Gods Word.

Make A Wish Make A Wish

Picture yourself a single person, not a bad life right? Eat when you want, sleep when you want, that is if your not working. Now, picture yourself also with no family; no mom, no dad, no brothers or sisters, no one to argue with right?

Now its the holidays; you know Thanksgiving and Christmas? A time to be merry and bright, right?  But lets face it that merry and bright departed when you found yourself alone. Then you ask yourself, "why put up the decorations  when only you will see them?" That makes no sense right? Plus you need to find a way to curb that energy bill, right?

Thats why this 2017, yours truly, created a I Wish page for all to see and use. On the page you will see its broken down into various categories, to make it a little easier to use. All except one refer back to my Amazon account where you, the reader, can choose which gift you want to bless me with. From DVD's to household and garden ideas I tried to put everything there thats wanted. or needed around the house.

What's nice about this page is it works not only for the holidays but birthdays or just thinking about you type days.

Last Days?

AS I recently spoke with the board of directors of Thunderdome Ministries sad news emerged. Allow  yours truly  to explain;

1.  Since 1982 yours truly has made sure the ministry had its needs met with it be a newsletter or domain name or even a website the needs have been met head on.
2. instead of having a huge bank account lit other ministry's funds are so little larger purchases have been sweep aside. I am talking about desktop computers, laptops and even buying property.
3. Love gifts are and have been slow to come forth. And always it was just enough to meet the needs at the time. However, I can tell you that there wes never enough afterwards to make a bank depost.
4. Repairs: sometimes things break and need repair as in the case of a Asus G60 laptop. It has sat for nearly 4 years needing repairs. Repairs such as a new keyboard to name only one aspect of many, Regretfully there has not been enough in coming funds to have the laptop not only repaired but updated as well. I think the system right now is running on Windows XP when it should be on Windows 10.

One of the directors is trying to find a way for readers like you  to contribute to the ministry. Offering such things as perhaps cd's, and or books but this ministry is not like Kenneth Copeland  and or Swaggart who can give away things

Below is a small list of things that need some kind of funding in 2018

• Internet via Comcast Business Class = $1020/yr
• Domain name @ Our Church = $19.95/yr
• Paper, ink printer from HP and a newer all on one printer is needed in about a year or less.  

Fact: 
 All ministries and churches have to have funding to press onward in this battle and Thunderdome Ministries Network is no different.

2016 Hindsight

So here we are only hours from the swearing in of one Donald D
Trump as out new President of these United States of America.
Thus,  all the campaigns are finished and the country can move forward. In a nutshell that's what transpired in 2016 nationally.

However,  this blog entry is about yours truly. So,  let's take a brief look back at 2016 from my view;

The year started out just fine with visions and goals. Some of those goals I've shared before; you know the one entry about not being able to do this or that.
Yes,  while others were having a grand OK time going to the beach,  watching the fireworks, shopping for new cloths,  going out on a photo shoot I was stuck at home. Yea,  my friends took me grocery shopping and or to church there was times I wanted to excape.
Oh yes I did! Example I wanted to attend a Newsboys concert or some other Christian concert. Problem was I had no car to get me from here to there and so forth. In fact I've been housebound since April 5th 2016. And its just not that but picture yourself missing out on many activities I enjoy.

While I'm glad I have a roof over my house one still likes to engage in hobbies,  sporting events and such to unwind,  right?

Oh,  in case you did not know my 2007 Dodge Caliber blew a drivers side ball joint. Once fixed it was learned that certain parts were rusted out because Dodge forgot to put rustproofing on the parts.Now you would think that Dodge would correct the problem without charge right? Well its not the case. After several phone call Dodge said there would be no problem and would do repairs under warranty. So we got the car towed to a local Dodge dealership only to find out that its going to cost some $2000,  ouch right?

So here I am nearly 2am writing this summery of which you may have found boring. Well,  that's kind of what 2016 was like for me. A year of valleys,  hills and even more valleys (actually they felt more like Grand Canyon experiences.) But this I know the sun will come our and there will be better days. There has to be better days.

So how can I remain so positive? It comes via experience. Even people in the Bible had good and bad days. But they were able to rise above their troubles due to their faith in God. And as my faith grows I too can see a better tomorrow just over the horizon. A tomorrow filled with the love and peace of God that surpasssss all understanding.
