Two Churches or Two Christians
For centuries the church has read the Book of Acts as a good history book of the early church. However, and regretfully, the church has missed the mark along the way. In fact there is two lessons to be learned and it may have costed many a soul from reaching the grandest prize of all.
What does the book of Acts tell todays church and professing Christians today. Mind you the lesson is so simple its unbelievable that its been missed and or overlooked.
Once Jesus was up into heaven everything was about the start of the church. Then, its the story of Gods people, or early Christians. A lesson that's been overlooked for ages.
Type number one
Listen to what is spoken;
"Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common, and sold their possessions and goods, and divided them among all, as anyone had need. So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved."
"And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common. And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all. Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold, And laid them down at the apostles' feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need."
Acts 2:44-47, 4:32-35
As to ponder this over allow me to simplify this: the first church, the first Christians were unselfish.
So much so they were willing to sell all they had, including house and home, just so those in need were helped.
I seen this in action in part in Lindale Texas. A group of Christians outgrew their meeting place. One man give up three million dollars and a church was built and it grew even while I was there. Point two: while in Texas I seen various people in the church helped with food, clothing and so forth. In fact I was in need of a study Bible and a Christian stepped forth to be sure one was furnished, later I learned the person spent close to $200 in total to be sure I had everything needed before I departed Texas in July of 1988.
Yes, these things can and do the above transpire in todays gospel society. But so does type number two below.
Type number two
Listen to the following and you will see the second type quit clearly.
"But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession, And kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it, and brought a certain part, and laid it at the apostles' feet. But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land? Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God. And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things. And the young men arose, wound him up, and carried him out, and buried him. And it was about the space of three hours after, when his wife, not knowing what was done, came in. And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much? And she said, Yea, for so much. Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out. Then fell she down straightway at his feet, and yielded up the ghost: and the young men came in, and found her dead, and, carrying her forth, buried her by her husband. And great fear came upon all the church, and upon as many as heard these things."
Acts 5:1-11
In short we see what transpired in the early church to those who had greed and doubt in their heart. First they choose to hold back not only from giving to God but also to those in need as well as the church. In short they deliberately lied not only to the church but to the Holy Sprirt. The punishment was, as we see was certain death to demonstrate to others that such will not be tolerated by the throne of God. "And great fear came upon all the church, and upon as many as heard these things." Acts 5:11
Okay, so we see what Gods people did back in the early day church. We also see the lesson learned by the early church about holding back and lying to the Holy Spirit. But does the latter transpire today? Answer, in truth?
Yes and no. The end result may not be so severe but it transpires in the death of churches throughout the United States. You say your church has not nor is dying? Look at your numbers compared to what your seating capacity might be. If you have 150 to 200 in your church but you can handle 500-1000 then you have a problem.
Lets look at it at a one on one level:
Is there people in your church going hungry but others drive nice cars and live in $250000 plus homes? Then there may be a problem. How about your community? Are there many homeless? Many ex-felons? Many disabled?
Jesus said in the Gospel of Matthew
"Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me."
Matthew 25:45
what to proper and be in good health?
Treat EVERY person just as if you were giving Jesus a simple glass of water.
You can NOT walk the fence of lukewarmness when your own brother or sister has needs in their life. God speaks clearly about lukewarm Christians in the book of Revelation
YOU, as a professing "Christian" have a choice, "I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see." Revelation 3:15-18
Many of societies issues can an could be resolved IF Gods people who are called by His name would...obey.
Now...look amounts those in your church and see who you can help. Look in your community and see who you can help. Got a million dollars profit? Invest it in a homeless center.
Think about this: the next person you help might just be an angel of the Lord whom you are entertaining. Or it could be the Lord Jesus Himself. You just never know.

UPDATE 10/23/17
AS of the date above State Farm has lowered the deductible to a mere $300 which is good of course. But I am a far cry from that goal for reasons stated above.

Alone?
Well for single people thats what Christians is like for million of single people. They sit at home on Christmas day perhaps eating a simple tv dinner while watching either some movie or watching a sporting event. What about family members? Well if you have family they might invite you over for a home cooked meal. However, if your the last one in the family Christmas can be an welcomed guest.
The latter aspect is true for this writer. So, every Christmas its a simple microwaveable tv dinner and a little time for a movie from the DVD collection. And forget the Mincemeat Pie not one grocery store sells them. So my favorite pie and ice cream go by the wayside like other traditions.
How can you help?

Christians at 2000
Let's look at something interesting happening in today's Christian society.
1. Under grace
2. Not under the law
3. Righteousness vs unrighteousness
4. Mercy
5. Healing
And the list grows and grows. But one thing you don't see on the above list is Christian maturity.
You see for some weird reason Christians today think/believe they are not under the law so they don't have to obey the law. This gives reason to Christians breaking laws meant to save lives and protect others in society. Allow me to pose a question to you the reader;
I'm not under the law but grace this means....
#1. I don't have to come to a complete stop at a stop sign.
#2. I don't have to obey the speed limit. Thus if I want to go down the road 15 miles per hour or more above the speed limit I will do it.
#3. I will put as many people in my car/truck/van as I please jeopardizing the welfare and safety of others.
#4. I don't have to pay any tickets received because I'm right and they are wrong.
#5. I don't have to stop at a yellow light even though I have time to stop.
So many misconceptions in Christian society it is shocking.
So let me try to put the record straight.
A. Yes we are no longer under the law. But the law you refer to is laws written in the days of Moses.
B. Yes you are under grace. But that does NOT give us license to disobey the laws of man. UNLESS it goes against Biblical principles.
C. While your under the dispensation of Grace it gives you no right to be rude.
Example: playing games/ texting/accepting or making calls on your cellphone while at church or even at a Bible study.
Not long ago I overheard a fellow believer say the following, "Man that guy can't seem to take no for an answer."
The only "no" I think any Christian should be willing to say is no to Satan and his evil ways.
What did Jesus have to say, "Render unto Caesar what is Caesar and unto God what is Gods." Matthew 22:21;
Is it meant for any Christian to disobey the laws of man? No it does not!
If the speed limit is 70mph then you drive your automobile accordingly. If the sign says stop then you must come to a complete stop.
Certain laws of the land are meant to keep you and me safe. This means YOU have a responsibility to keep any and all passengers safe.
Lastly, and the following is about your smartphone/ tablet.
If think its alright to use your cellphone while driving it is NOT a grand idea. I have seen drivers using their cellphones all the while weaving in and out of lanes as if the driver were doing drugs.
I have seen accidents that involved distracted drivers. The end result? Well you can be sure there was many a families grieving.
While you are not 2000 years of age you still need to obey the Lord and mind the laws of the land.
Let us(Christians) always remember that we are to be a light unto a lost and dying world.
And we are to be an example to younger Christians who are maturing in the faith.

Those Dry Dead Bones
Here I sit in a "revival"meeting on the 4th day and wow are people missing it.. Allow me to explain;
As it is written in God's Word in the book of Ezekiel chapters 37 & 38 it talked about dead bones. Now I share with you what the Spirit of the Lord is showing this vessel.
There are dead bones right in both the house of God but in those that process they are part of the family of God. They are happy to keep God in a box only to let him out as it pleases them.
But hear this dry bones; you can not keep God in a box. You have to let God out so He can set those in bondage free.
Churches, wake up!
Pastors you need to let God out of the box and preach the holy Word as if tomorrow you were to breath your last breath.
I say to the dry bone live!

It Takes....
They say there are over one million Christians in the United States alone. But the number of homeless people can not truly be counted. But there is a way you can help so left me explain if you please.
Thunderdome Ministries Network Inc out of Flint Michigan wants to help the homeless. However there is a catch per se. And it goes like this:
Every year even Christians find themselves homeless either on a short term level or long term.
What if the Christian community gathered around to assist? Here re is a plan that very well could work.
If everyone reading this could commit to giving $10 per month who know how many it could assist. To top it off there would be no need goverment grants whatsoever. In fact as CEO of the ministry I do not want any grants from the US goverment. Why no grants you ask; simple answer is this; grants are filled with rules and regulations.
Ever hear the phrase "Hay buddy can you spare a dime?" That phrase came out of the days of the Hobo and depression era. Today you can not get a cup of coffee for a dime. In fact many restaurants charge a dollar or more. Now the question to you is as follows;
Hay mister can you spare $10 per month committing to at least 6 months?
If you are willing to commit to a mere $10/month for six months or more click on the following link.
I commit to freely give $10 per month for at least six months
If you are willing do make the above commitment the staff of the ministry thanks you for your free will love offering. As you so freely bless so God will bless you someday.
Yours in the faith and knowledge of Jesus who is the Christ

What you dont know about.....
#1. The ministry is faith based.
#2. The ministry is not a 401c3 non profit ministry. Yet we sell nothing to raise funds. If the ministry needs it then the money comes out of my own pocket. It has been this way dating all the way back to the Spring of 1982.
#3. The ministry does have a small staff consisting of only three men of God. No more no less.
#4. The ministry has its own website hosted Yola in fact you can find the website at http://thunderdome-ministries.yolasite.com, We do have at least two mirror sites that I find important in keeping graphics and any ideas.
#5. All websites, both personal and ministry wise, are created by yours truly.. There is no outside agency that assists in this project.
#6. In the past we would ask on Facebook and in this blog for financial assistance. However well meaning it did not fully pan out as planned. We do keep a GoFundMe account
#7. Did you know that yours truly has preached in assisted living homes. in prison and as of a week ago even in churches. Yes I do know how to teach, preach and prepare sermons. In fact some sermons can be found on the ministry website and at Littlethunders Castle
And yes i am available to share Gods Word in your church here in the United States . Simple call or text me @ 248-295-1365
#8. Yours truly was mentored by the late Pastor Richard Eugene Blue of Waterford Michigan for the duration of some 26 wonderful years.
Now that you heard a little about Thunderdome Ministries Network inc I wonder if you perhaps would like to assist with a love gift. If so see above wher you read a bit about GoFundMe and click that on.
Thank you for your time today. Come back soon.

Would it Work? Unity or Strife?
Answer...................Unity in the body of Christ.
Q............................How do you prove there is unity in the body of Christ?
A,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Demonstration. Does not the Christians song say "they will know we are Christians by our love?"
Q......................... How should the body of Christ prove it?
A......................... This is a multifold answer
#1. going to a Christians home regardless what church s/he may be attending. Failure to do so does not show unity but division.
You see in the mindset of God there is addition and multiplying. In Satan mindset there is only subtraction and division .
#2. another way is to hold a visit another church Sunday by the entire congregation. Could you picture the look on a Pastors face when an entire congratulation shows up at his church?
#3... Renovate a church to make it totally barrier free for the disabled. If you look, really look, 99.9% of the churches around the globe are not barrier free. This sets up an appearance that the disabled are not welcome. You need to understand that Jesus id not come to minister so much to the healthy but those who are sick. Read Mark 2:17
This was understood best by the late Oral Roberts and Kathryn Kuhlman
Lastly, and importantly is this: there are no denominations in heaven! Christians need to put aside religious and denominational doctrines of which has cause strife and divisions in the church. And what did I pen earlier? God adds and multiply while Satan subtracts and divides.
As a Christian which do you prefer? envy and strife? or peace that surpasses all understanding with and in God and His moral and heavenly laws.

A Softer America?
Here is a question for you to consider;
Have all the "legal" Americans gone soft?
You think about it a minute and as you do consider all those US Generals in recent years who "retired" under pressure. I have NEVER seen such a happening before in US history.
Now, think back to September 11 2001 and those so called "terror attacks." Including that of a certain building just outside of DC. If you review the footage you can clearly see that it was NOT a airplane but a missle that hit the Pentagon.
Yes, I say not only have countless Americas gone soft but various branches of these United States.
How can I say this? Look at the following;
#1. When the World Trade Center was attacked why was the Pentagon not put on full alert?
#2. When the Pentagon was attacked what took them so long to protect the President of the United States? The government has secret underground bunkers all around these United States he could have been hid inside. Instead they put him on an airplane that could have been shot down.
When i went into the US Army we ALL took an oath to "defend against all enemies both foreign and domestic."
I would hope that ALL those who took that oath still stand by it and do and or will protect these hallowed grounds called the Unites States of American.
And lastly, let me say this:
This is no time for the household of faith, aka the church, to go soft either. Scripture that says that we are to "fight the good fight of faith." Furthermore it also says to "put on the WHOLE armor of God."
If the church will look through history people, yes those who today sit in pews across America, fought to protect and defend its land. Today should be no different!
Are you as true blue American as the late General George S. Patton?
Or are you as soft as the soldier he slapped?
You, as not only perhaps as Christians, but also Americans needs to get tough on "the enemy both forgein and domestic."
This is no time to get soft and cozy. Its past time to defend what our fathers and grand fathers have fought so bravely for. Freedom!
It's time to defend and protect our freedom!
Like the late Dr King said, "let freedom ring." And it needs to be rung from the highest mountain to the lowest valley.
Indeed let"freedom ring" and let it ring loud and proud.
Its past time to defend and protect these lands.
Your very freedom is at stake. What will you do?
Signed
David "Littlethunder" Liebler

Pick-up the Phone
I clearly remember one time I was very sick and out of school for a couple weeks. Do you know what transpired? Here is what took place:
My friends stopped by to see how I was doing otherwise known as "can he come out and play yet?"
My music teacher stopped by. Of course she lived accross the street but she came by anyway.
School teachers came by, with school work of course. All the while I was runnning a fever of 104 degrees. Nevertheless they stopped by to visit.
Do you know who also stopped by besides the doctor that is. People from church; Sunday Scool teachers, Pastors and even those who sat in the pews.
What transpired back then in the sixties is a far cry from this day and age. Dispite the invention of the cell phone it seems society has lost touch with one key factor of every day life. It seems society has forgotten how to communicate with each other. Now here is a though; if society as a whole has forgotten how to communicate does this apply to the household of faith? If so lets take a look and see if that true. In the mean time set your cellphone down and listen.
Back in the 50's and 60's you could go by a church at high noon and they would still be having service. Pass by again in at 1300 hours and they are still having church service. And if you went by even at 1400 hours there is a good chance they would be having church service.
Take that same church and go inside and what do you find? the pastor preaching, choir singing and the very people in the pews worshiping the very God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob.
Sadly today a member of the household of faith has to duke it out nearly alone. No visits no phone calls from the very church they attend. Its as if a person had encountered some sort of abduction.
Go by a church today and you learn that they let out by high noon as if there was going to be some gunfight in the center of town. Think I am joking!? Look at the how packed restaurants get on Sundays between noon and two in the afternoon. Sadly, there seems to be more care for what on their plate than whats missing in the pews.
The very household of God needs to demonstrate the self same kind of mercy that God showers us with each and every day. "But God whose rich in mercy....." as it is written in Ephesians 2:4
It does not say faith nor grace. In fact it says God is rich in mercy.
Does the church, as a whole or part, really care about those who attend? Or does it care more about how much can be collected in the morning offering? And does the same church care about spending time with God or is God just something to be hung over the fireplace to look at?
Its perhaps time that the church starts really caring about its members. Allow me to explain: if you knew of a Christian going through a tough time financially would you try to help them? Well back in the days of the early church they sure would have. In fact the book of Acts proves they did. So what is so different about the church today?
In short let me say this:
its past the time for embers of the Christian society to pick up the phone and ask these questions;
#1. we miss you at church
#2. ask if there is any way the church can help.
#3. pay a visit to there home. In other words make it personal. Meeting face to face adds the persnoal touch.
#4. If a person needs a place to live or needs help with their living quarters the assist them. Even offer him or her a place to live by making use of an extra bedroom or guest house.
#5. If a person needs food then help them with filling the refrigerator and shelves with good quality food items. If you do this aspect please don't push your like and beliefs onto them. Let the person in need choose the food; this keeps it on a personal level not an institutional level.
In closing remember this:
When God sent His Son He did so out of love, concern and out of mercy.
Demonstrate the mercies of God instead of harping on the faith and grace issues. Why not the faith and grace issue? For one reason and one reason only; each human is given a measure of faith. Thus the faith of one person may be different from that of yourself.
Show mercy to others and God will demonstrate more mercy unto you and your family.

Whats up with that?
Life as we know it is wrapped in many layers. Which layer one chooses determines various outcomes.
But what if you choose a layer where there is little recreation. What transpires then? I've seen highly educational people so engulfed in learning that nearly all their friends seemed to flee at some point in time. Perhaps they could see that without outside stimulation one could induce an overload if sorts.
What the heck does that mean?
It all comes down to one old saying,
"All work and no play makes for one boring life."
But here is a question to ponder.
Does that phrase work even in the realm of Christianity? I'm not talking about man-made religion where countless doctrines of do and don't exist. I'm talking about real Christianity where Biblical doctrines transpire. You know , "the doctrine of Jesus Christ" and the elementary teachings of Christ as in Hebrews 6:1 & 2
Can one be so "heavenly minded that they are of no earthly good?"

A NEW ERA
Dawn of A New Era
You know this ministry for its work in the prison ministry. Now we embark in to a new era where the vision is as enormous. What you are about to read is a small fraction of what will occur.
Stage I
Housing for Christians who are in need of temporary(3-8 months) housing while waiting to move into their own house.
Stage II
Temporary housing for Christian music groups on tour. Not a hotel or motel not even a dormitory but an actual furnished house. To boot there would be parking for their tour bus in a garage large enough to hold two tour buses and do any minor repairs.
But How
#1. Buy 100+ acre of land with some needed buildings
#2. Build actual 4 bedroom rustic ranch homes via
#3. Build a 300 seat chapel with a learning center with the same style as mentioned above in number two .
Why?
#1. Some Christians either lose their house to fire or are buying for the first time need housing
#2. On the road Christian musicians either sleep in their tour bus of spend money on cheap hotels or motels. Some passing Pastor could rest his head thus he too could be spared various expenses
#3. The chapel will be used for such things as a Christian coffee house. The ministry could even hold Sunday evening services.
What About Costs?
At present there is a location that fits a huge percentage of this new era. The listed asking price is $2,250,000 million dollars plus taxes closing costs and so forth. Thus we are looking at a need of perhaps five to ten million. Such would enable the building of not only the chapel but very well three to four houses
NOW that you heard about this new aspect the question becomes as follows:
Will you help us so we can help them?
Send checks and or money orders to the following.

If you desire to be part of the team please be at my house by Saturday August 15 @ 9:15am
Prayerfully we will have Chick tracts to pass out the day of the event.
Just a reminder of sorts: Chick tracts do get read.
But according to stats: every tract gets read at least 10-15 times. Those are seeds for the kingdom of God. The next step is for some one to water those seeds.
BUT it must be kept in mind that it is GOD that gives the increase.
DONT let those Chick tracts just lay around your house. Instead, put them to good use.
Will YOU help us reach a little corner of the world this Saturday?

Majors & Minors
For ages upon ages there has been both minor and major prophets. Ezekiel for one was a major prophet. Amos is considered a minor. Got the picture yet?
Thus, this writing is not about some musical score. Nor even about various movies you may have seen or heard through the anals of time.
Let us flash forward to this day and age and see what is developing;
Today there is a voice crying in the wilderness about various issues in the "Christian" church. The problem is as follows, no one is listening. The professing Christians think various thoughts and dismiss the "Word of the Lord," considering s/he is a "little off their rocker."
Next thing you know, and perhaps years down a special speaker is brought in for, perse, a moment in time.
What the Christians hear is what was spoken once before. And guess what transpires.
Everyone gets all excited, the hairs in the back of their necks stick up and there is praise rising up like never before. And again its the same message as the "crazy one" spoke years ago.
Here is what Gods elect truly need to do as we draw closer to the end times:
#1. The dear elect of Christ need to "hear what the Spirit of the Lord" says regardless if it comes from a major or minor minister of the Lord.
#2. Instead of a message going in one ear and out the other it needs to stick like Velcro.
#3. If change is mentioned then make the change. God is not slack about His Word. In fact He's a lot like E.F. Hutton, when God speaks everyone needs to listen.
Remember this dear reader:
As God knocks on the door, it is our responsibility to open it.
Failure to open is a sign of rejection and that dear reader comes awfully close to rebellion and that, according to God's Word is equal to that of witchcraft. And witchcraft is punishable by nothing less than death.
God has a great deal to speak to the church. Some of it is locally. And, here is a real nail biter, some will be meant for the church on a global scale.
So what are you going to do when a major or minor speaker has a "word from the Lord" for you?
What will your church do when the "Word of the Lord" comes forth? (And, for those churches who don't believe, hear this warning, failure to open the door could result is nasty side effects.)
Remember this:
If God can use a Jeremiah or a David or even one crying out of the wilderness God can and will use as He pleases!
,***One final note here.***
Just as it was Ezekiel and Jeremiah had the responsibility to speak the "Word of the Lord" it is also the case in today's society.
If the one crying out if the wilderness does not speak the Word, then the blood is on his hands.
Thus there lies a responsibility that is quite awesome indeed.
And if ye listen to the "Word of the Lord" then the listener has a responsibility.
