"Help me if You Can" Part 1 A Christian point of view
Introduction
If, your old enough, you may remember the rock and roll group called "The Beatles" One of their many albums was simply titled Help. On the album was a song by the same name and the lyrics went something like the following:Help, not just anybody
Help, you know I need someone
Help!
When I was younger, so much younger than today
I never needed anybody's help in any way
But now these days are gone I'm not so self-assured
Now I find I've changed my mind and opened up the doors
Help me if you can, I'm feeling down
And I do appreciate you being 'round
Help me get my feet back on the ground
Won't you please, please help me?
And now my life has changed in oh so many ways
My independence seems to vanish in the haze
But every now and then I feel so insecure
I know that I just need you like I've never done before
Help me if you can, I'm feeling down
And I do appreciate you being 'round
Help me get my feet back on the ground
Won't you please, please help me?
When I was younger, so much younger than today
I never needed anybody's help in any way
But now these days are gone I'm not so self-assures
Now I find I've changed my mind, I've opened up the doors
Help me if you can, I'm feeling down
And I do appreciate you being 'round
Help me get my feet back on the ground
Won't you please, please help me?
Help me, help me,ooo
The Other Voice
35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave the drink?
38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.
25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
26 If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.
27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
The Ministry
Listen to what James says
17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.
21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
Verily I say unto you,
Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to
me.

What you dont know about.....
#1. The ministry is faith based.
#2. The ministry is not a 401c3 non profit ministry. Yet we sell nothing to raise funds. If the ministry needs it then the money comes out of my own pocket. It has been this way dating all the way back to the Spring of 1982.
#3. The ministry does have a small staff consisting of only three men of God. No more no less.
#4. The ministry has its own website hosted Yola in fact you can find the website at http://thunderdome-ministries.yolasite.com, We do have at least two mirror sites that I find important in keeping graphics and any ideas.
#5. All websites, both personal and ministry wise, are created by yours truly.. There is no outside agency that assists in this project.
#6. In the past we would ask on Facebook and in this blog for financial assistance. However well meaning it did not fully pan out as planned. We do keep a GoFundMe account
#7. Did you know that yours truly has preached in assisted living homes. in prison and as of a week ago even in churches. Yes I do know how to teach, preach and prepare sermons. In fact some sermons can be found on the ministry website and at Littlethunders Castle
And yes i am available to share Gods Word in your church here in the United States . Simple call or text me @ 248-295-1365
#8. Yours truly was mentored by the late Pastor Richard Eugene Blue of Waterford Michigan for the duration of some 26 wonderful years.
Now that you heard a little about Thunderdome Ministries Network inc I wonder if you perhaps would like to assist with a love gift. If so see above wher you read a bit about GoFundMe and click that on.
Thank you for your time today. Come back soon.
PS
If you prefer to send a love gift via snail mail the address is located below. Make any funds for the ministry out to....

TDM?
#1. What is TDM? It is short for Thunderdome Ministries Network Inc.
#2. What are the goals?
2-a. To reach a lost and dieing world for the Lord.
2-b. To help Christians that are incarcerated. First in Michigan and in other prisons in the United States.
2-c. To build a campus or half way house for Christians exiting prison.
You may be saying or asking if other Christians are doing all of the above. In part the answer is yes. However, the labours are few and far between.
Next. Christians exiting one form of society and thrown into another is not the proper way of doing things. Often a person is sent right back into the very heart of where s/he lives with zero support from the family of God. This is exactly where the ministry comes in: once the campus is built and finished a person could safely adjust to society quietly and at a pace they are comfortable with. Otherwise they are doomed for another time behind iron bars.
Is all this worth it?
The answer is yes.
Now allow yours truely to ask you some questions.
#1. If you had a family member behind bars would you not want to help them? Hopefully I hope the answer is yes. For you see God is not a one strike and your out person. God is the author if you will of second, third and fourth chances. Whereas society only gives a person only one strike and your out.
#2. How can you help?
2-a. Prayer
2-b. Hope. Always hope for a better tomorrow. Whether it's for yourself or for those incarcerated.
2-c. Financial. Just like anything in society things cost money. It costs money to build a building, buy cloths, buy food or even put gas in the car. So it costs money to run any ministry. It takes funding to buy land, houses, pay bills and such. So the ministry has to buy supplies such as ink or paper for the printer. It takes money to buy tracks, put gas in cars and trucks. It takes money to have an ISP or the ability to buy a domain name and even money to pay the light bill.
And that, dear reader is a small part of a much larger picture.
But you say, "your ministry is small. So why should I give?"
The answer is simple: to save up for the unexpected. Such as the need for a new furnace, or water heater or new roof and so forth.
Giving to a nonprofit ministry is rather easy. You give and then declare it on you income tax. In return you receive a percentage in return.
With this ministry listed as a profit ministry we hope that you will give out of the abundance of your heart. There is one small thing about this ministry: people won't give because there is no tax deductions. And so the ministry suffers in more ways than one.
Thunderdome Ministries Network has a vision and long range goals. All of which you can be a part of. The question now becomes as follows; will you help us so we came help even "the least of these?"
