Much has transpired since my last entry some good and some bad. So lets get to the heart of it all okay?
#1. My best friend, Pastor, teacher, spiritual father and mentor of 26 years, Richard E. Blue of Waterford Michigan went to be with the Lord over Easter 2016 weekend holiday. This was crushing news and only now am I able to write about it. Today's date: October 13 2016
#2. When the Pastor and senior Pastor of a church says the exact same thing shortly after the death of Pastor Blue(see above) you know what time of day it is from top to bottom. Thus, from that point onward my search for a home church, that teaches and believes in Gods Word 100% continues.
#3. April 5 2016 the drivers side ball joint of my 2007 Dodge Caliber goes out in the parking lot of CVS in Waterford Michigan. Thankfully I have towing on the insurance yet it still costs me $92 to have it toes all the way back to Flint Michigan. From that day until now October it sat in the driveway unrepaired due to expenses.
As I pen this the car sits at Al Serra Dodge waiting for repairs,of which I am unsure if the cars even worth it in the long run. I suspect the total cost to repair the front end of the car is well over one thousand dollars. This is to replace the cross members, tie-rods, bushings etc etc. All of which I am praying God will supply the funding for real soon.
Its not easy not having your own transportation in a city{Flint Michigan} but experience pays off in the long run. And yes from time to time my friends Dave Cotie & Lawrence Sefa do help from time to time. (By the way: Cotie & Lawrence & Jame Holder are the only ones from the former church who have lifted a hand to assist.)
#3 About a month ago I got to meet Mr Edward J Guida who owns FJC Enterprises at a local restaurant along with Lawrence Sefa. As we learned Edward is somewhat a Webmaster above even my own abilities. Much was discussed at the table but one thing that stuck out to me was his verbal approval of the websites yours truly had created.
As well he states that he does not ask for funding for his ministry either online or inperson. Furthermore his ministry and Thunderdome Ministries hold a common bond, we are not a 501C3 like many churches and ministries are today. This means no governmental interference of one aspect or another. And this is a good thing in this day and age, amen?
Conclusion:
Except for the storms of life that passed by in 2016 things seem to be on target. And I am greatful to God for all He has done and will do in the days ahead.
