Be true

Ever since i returned to Michigan weird things transpired, as far as friendships go I'm talking about.

And here i am approaching the end of 2017 and my friendships seem as weird, no scratch that, i should say, in the garbage. You see many of those who claim to be my friend have gone their own way. And in doing so they leave yours truly in the dust.
Those who claim to be getting married never invite me to their wedding and or introduce me to their wife or wife to be.  One friend went so far as far as wanting to post my past all over Facebook. Yet he claims this or that on his one on one communications.

What I'm getting at is this

#1.  When God came into my life He forgave me of all my sins and wrong doings. God even forgave me of the sins of the past.

#2. When God forgave me He proved He was my friend as written in John chapter fifteen. He also promised that He would never leave me or forsake me.

#3. Since God  did forgive me of wrong doings I then had to learn to forgive myself and move forward.

Funny thing only one earthly friend remains  all others have gone by the wayside. One friend of 26 years died last year and went on to be with God.

By the way its at this time of year that I ask God to do two things. And by doing so He could relieve me of many hurts.
Every year I ask God the most foolish and selfish thing ever; Allow me to die so i can be truly free.
Yes dear reader i am ready to meet God face to face.

Will my death take place in the remaining days of 2017 or will God grant me grace and mercy?

"Lord, i covet Your friendship more than ever. It's more precious
than diamonds or rubies. I thank you for your friendship. I thank you for never leaving my side even when i mess up. Amen"

Lastly dear reader i leave you with the following:

If you can not be true to yourself how can you be every be friends with another person.
Be true to yourself, and your friends, regardless of your past or your friends past.
