Greetings once again!
As you see yours truly is very much alive. And frankly all because of several factors, of which I will explain;
#1. Backbone. Through my recent ordeal two brothers in the faith threw down the gauntlet and minced not their words. I like that in a person who is not afraid to tell it like it is. What we do with it will be up to us.
#2. Be who you are. Never be anything you are not. If you can not face yourself in the mirror then I would say find yourself in God's Word.
#3. Spirit of fear: Fear is like standing on a narrow fence. It has its good and bad aspects. You, prayerfully are adult enough to know the difference.
#4. Know your limitations: let's face reality. You are not God. You, as much as we would like to, do not know everything and every person. So don't be afraid to ask and learn as you proceed.
#5. Tell the truth: for some unknown reason, perhaps our own ego, we want every one to think we are "fine" or "Okay." When in truth your hurting, in pain and or in need of some form of assistance. Oh yes, let's not forget this; stop doing it when your with fellow Christians! If the first person just pats you on the back and says everything will be fine tell someone else until you get the help you need!
As we walk with God we ought to be learning not just about Him but how to be more like Him. Don't try to be your pastor, mentor or Sunday School Teacher. Just be yourself and true to thyself.
God has a wonderful plan for you and it is all laid out in His Word. But in order to know what HE is all about you have to do one thing;
Throw down the gauntlet and read HIS Word daily!
