PLEASE NOTE: there is a music video at the end of this entry which I hope you will enjoy and it seems to fit in with what is happening at this moment.
Have you ever heard the expression "going nowhere fast" well that is about how things are taking place even as I pen this. Allow me to explain'
AS you know yours truly needs to find a place to live before October 15th of this year. As of this writing I can truly inform you that such a location has not came into reality. Thus, and this is rather a hard pill to swallow, every day that comes and goes finds me wondering where that light is at the end of the tunnel.
The hope and prayer is that yours truly will relocate in the Fenton Michigan area where it is peaceful and quite a quiet community. Just what one would like to have after reaching the age of sixty, The main reason as to why I choose Fenton is due to the hard cold fact that this is where I go to church namely Faith City.
At present the drive from my present location to the church is something like a 45 minute drive. Once moved into the area mentioned the time frame would be cut to a mere eight minute drive. This would save on the costs of gas as well as the ware and tare on my little 2007 Dodge Caliber
Long time ago, when I was in the midst of a storm there seemed to be a song that hit well with yours truly. That song is titled "Because He Lives I can Face Tomorrow." I face tomorrow knowing full well that He is and will always be my best of friends as mentioned in John chapter fifteen.
Whenever you go through a storm in your life realize that there is a reason for it, even if you can not see it at the time. I guess you would have to say it is your test to see just how much you trust HIM. God's Word says this, "Trust in the LORD with all
thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways
acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." Proverbs 3: 5-6
How much do you trust God when your in the midst of a storm? The more you trust HIM the easier that storm will seem. In some ways you could compare trust to someone throwing you a rope as you struggle to keep from drowning in some lake or pond; do you have enough trust that the rope will be strong enough to pull you to safety?
Let us agree together that the right place for me to live will show itself far before the deadline of October fifteenth.
More updates will follow in the days and weeks ahead.
