Blog Wrtting 101

1. Writting a blog takes work, I for one will tell you this right from jump street.
2. From a Christian point of view one has to be able to sit back and hear what the Spirit of The Lord has to say. TO do this one needs to commmit to Pslams 46: 10 where it says "Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth."
3.  As one listens to God one has to determine what is personal and what is for public use. Not everythingg I hear from God is for others to hear or know about. There are time when God got on my case about something that no one else needs to ever know about. And frankly, and to tekk you the truth it is a good thing people do not see yours truly as a perfect person as I am not. SO I am pleased that God treats me as a Father and corrects me. And do you want to know something? If you do something wrong guess who you can expect to show up at your spiritual doorstep. Look what Jesus says in Revelation 3: 19 says "As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent." Figure this out if you will: if Jesus Himself corrects the churches how much more HE will correct us.

When I attended Englsh classes in collages every one of my professors said this, it will be that you will not be having somethin to pen every day. This means you will go for days or weeks wtihout something to pen. This is all part of the creative process. So when I see blog entry after blog entry by various Christians I have to wonder if they too have toiled over their very own pen and paper. Afer all  it is not everyday that people like Hemmingway and other great writers had endless hours of bright ideas for that next chapter or next line.

In fact some pieces of literature take months and years to complete. And to top it off those very well could be only their rought drafts.

                                   So here is  lesson 101 about writting a blog:

• Before you start a blog make sure you have something really to say to people not at people.
• Be sure  what you do say you can follow up with later on. 
• Remember that entries are to be like short stories. On the World WIde Web you only have the attention span of a person for no more than eiht minutes. 
• Capture the readers from your own experenses. For example; do you have lots of experence in how to create websites? or how about how to fix computers and the lists movers onward endlessly.
• Never charge a single red penny for the knowledge your going to share. This will help in keeping readers coming back.
• If you are writingg a Christian blog be sure what you share is truly for the masses and not somethin the Lord ot on your case about. There is a fine line here on what you can and ought to share with the Christian masses.
•  If you want to learn how to imporve your writting skills I suggest you do as my professors did with the classes. Learn from the masters themself, in other words read books b y the masters. You in turn will pick up their styles and methods
